Cherkis doing well at city, but they have runners, he's racking up the assists because of it, it's why haaland scores so many it's not all about him it's the wide players that help him.

we're winning jackshit with gakpo starting every game, and noone of note on the right, hopefully salah can come back and be good, not going to have any pace though with gakpo on the left.

Would be the first outs and replaced with pacey exciting attackers, that work hard too & a No6 & Guehi or another good CB, RB will be ok for now even if bradders spends most of the season injured every season, frimpong can play there at least, and if we got a no6 frees up Szob to cover too.

We attack like that if you pay proper attention because Slit obviously wants everything to be a short passing game, the players in space needlessly not picking up are there for Wirtz to play wall passes off to try and instal him as a midfield playmaker which is pure folly in the modern game in the first place not workable anymore just have a player follow him round the pitch so very outdated

We play as shit and boring as we do as part of Slot’s football manager bullshit ideas that belong in the 70’s

Even if we didn't buy wirtz or change the system as you say, I don't know how things would be different with the wide attackers...and gakpo playing every week, but he's great because he scores tap-ins and some goals sometimes, doesn't matter that he can't win a header no pace, doesn't really work well with the team. must be the most predictable boring attacker we've had in a long time.

We didn’t buy the wide attackers because Slot planned to change the system that worked and prioritised over 300m on signing 2 number 9’a and Wirtz for a system untried and untested instead
