Jurgen’s lads won it playing like Jurgen had them play
Now Slot’s tried to implement something different to that it’s disastrous
The proof is in the pudding this is not a hard thing to comprehend

Did you actually watch any of our games last season? It was nothing like what we had previously played under Klopp.
Whatever it is we're supposed to be doing this season is a load of shit and Slot has made a right pig's ear of it.
But it's disingenuous to be taking any credit away from him for last season. Like he's rolled into the dressing room and asked Virg, "So, how did you guys play last season? Well just do that again..."
Something, Something, Something, Dark Side
This has been the issue all season. Pushing the two midfielders further forward is absolutely killing us.
On several occasions in the 2nd half Burnley have the ball in the middle of park, with no Liverpool player within 15 yards of him. That can't be happening.
Wirtz was fantastic for 50 minutes. Then we lost all control of the game.
I see jockstrap has quickly moved on from "there was no booing"when proven wrong.
Fingers in ears.
This is true to a degree. We played far less risky game - and it worked well but Jozza we took just 2 points more than the same side did while integrating 4 new mids in their first season. - plus an injury pile up that makes the one we have now look like a
blemish.
I get that you want to be fair and Slot DOES deserve credit BUT it everything was in place for the man. A team full of Klopp’s Title and Champions league winners plus his 2.0 midfield entering a second season. There was ZERO expectation. Opposition were less concerned about us. 2 points more. Dumped out of the FA cup by Plymouth and the CL at the first knockout stage.
It is fair to credit Slot because he deserves it BUT it cannot be granted without first stating that he won the title with Klopp’s team.
After 34 games in 2024/25 Cituae had 61 points & Arsenal 67 & LFC 82.
After 34 games in 2023/24 Cituae had 79 points & Arsenal 77 & LFC 74.
After 34 games in 2022/33 Cituae had 82 points & Arsenal 78 & LFC 59.
After 34 games in 2021/22 Cituae had 83 points & Arsenal 63 & LFC 82.
After 34 games in 2020/21 Cituae had 80 points & Arsenal 49 & LFC 57.
After 34 games, Slots LFC had comparable points with every other Premier league winners above, namely Cituae.
Klopp could have won in 2021/2022, needed to beat citaue. And in 2023/2024 that could have been anyone of the 3 in fairness in what was a var crazy season. Arteta/Saka might have won it in 2022/23.
The idea our final points total is down to the quality of last seasons team and squad is bollix.
We were on the beach quite literally in Ibiza celebrating, and dropped 10 points out of 12 in our last 4. Out of the CL & FA cup....
(Copied and pasted from 5/10/25... and still you keep spouting shite.... )
Now it's AMAZING how pr savvy you thought Diaz was, and yet on Jotas funeral you make out hes not so pr savy... here's what you said beforehand..

not that I am condoning Diaz - I think he was ungrateful to h club that helped him and his family. But from a selfish Liverpool fan perspective - we need him,
I think his statement on why he moved on, while outwardly positive, perfectly illustrates the art of the transfer PR script—and the careful reasons why the real issues are never mentioned.
Why the Narrative is Always "New Challenge"
The reasons Díaz gave “new challenge" and being attracted to "the project they were building at Bayern" are the safest, most professional pieces of PR. The very absence of "sour grapes" or talk of money confirms the success of his strategy.
Immediate Goodwill is Paramount: Díaz's primary goal is to start his career at Bayern on the best possible footing. By talking up the "project," he instantly validates the ambition of his new club and gives the fans a positive narrative to rally behind. A warm welcome is crucial, and it buys him time if his on-pitch start is slow.
Maintaining a Clean Professional Image: If the true reason was a falling out with a manager or disappointment with Liverpool's strict wage structure (which is almost certainly a core factor), publicly revealing that paints him as a disruptive "problem player." Sticking to the language of "ambition" keeps his reputation immaculate for every club in the future.
His Agent's Calculation: His representatives are focused on future business. Burning bridges with a giant like Liverpool by citing "disappointing wage offers" is bad for their relationship with all major clubs. The narrative of challenging himself, especially coming from a humble background, is relatable and impossible for either set of fans to criticize.
In short, his statement is designed to be unimpeachable while still achieving the desired outcome of a transfer and a massive pay bump. He gave the public the story they are required to hear.
And yet you think he couldn't get a local media journo to hold a release for a few days, or keep from posting on his own social media![]()
Stop your lying tongue. You know NOTHING about the Diaz situation and WHY he remains close to the family…
Crimson Dynasty was 100% spot on about you,
October 2025 and three months after Jota's funeral - Rute Cardoso posted a "heartfelt message" on Instagram. She re-shared the famous photo of Jota holding up Díaz’s shirt (from 2023, when Díaz’s father was kidnapped) and tagged Díaz with the caption ‘2 years ago.’
The article notes that Luis Díaz and his fiancée, Gera Ponce, immediately re-shared Rute’s post, further indicating a mutual bond and lack of animosity.
