I see konate lost the ball that led up to burnley scoring and nearly scored a great own goal, he's far too clumsy a better sakho.

No signings needed though, it's fine, it's all fine.

Fuck guehi and any other CB, VVD will be the same beast and play until he's 40 anyhow and not decline at all.... (Think that's started let's be honest) not commanding or dominates anymore..... but it's fineeeeeeee

really we should be clear in 4th now, it's a joke far too many dropped points

So you know Diaz... and he is super pr savy with his agent as per your own words, but hes a pr twit when it comes to sensitivities around the death of a teammate...

As per you and CD, at least CD can eventually understand basic English and addition once it is broken down for him at a remedial level.
Sadly you dont seem to have that level of understanding.

Anyway your quote is there for all to read again.

I don't know why you're both obsessing about what happened with Diaz--- would have been fine if we actually replaced him with someone good, and not left ourselves short..... Instead we've got Gakpo every game and a kid on the left.... and on the right a stropping aging Salah and a pointless Chiesa....

    @ CD

not that I am condoning Diaz - I think he was ungrateful to h club that helped him and his family. But from a selfish Liverpool fan perspective - we need him,

I think his statement on why he moved on, while outwardly positive, perfectly illustrates the art of the transfer PR script—and the careful reasons why the real issues are never mentioned.

Why the Narrative is Always "New Challenge"
The reasons Díaz gave “new challenge" and being attracted to "the project they were building at Bayern" are the safest, most professional pieces of PR. The very absence of "sour grapes" or talk of money confirms the success of his strategy.

Immediate Goodwill is Paramount: Díaz's primary goal is to start his career at Bayern on the best possible footing. By talking up the "project," he instantly validates the ambition of his new club and gives the fans a positive narrative to rally behind. A warm welcome is crucial, and it buys him time if his on-pitch start is slow.

Maintaining a Clean Professional Image: If the true reason was a falling out with a manager or disappointment with Liverpool's strict wage structure (which is almost certainly a core factor), publicly revealing that paints him as a disruptive "problem player." Sticking to the language of "ambition" keeps his reputation immaculate for every club in the future.

His Agent's Calculation: His representatives are focused on future business. Burning bridges with a giant like Liverpool by citing "disappointing wage offers" is bad for their relationship with all major clubs. The narrative of challenging himself, especially coming from a humble background, is relatable and impossible for either set of fans to criticize.

In short, his statement is designed to be unimpeachable while still achieving the desired outcome of a transfer and a massive pay bump. He gave the public the story they are required to hear.

Its more about pointing out what steveos said about Diaz and his agent above being so pr savvy about getting a massive pay bump.

And yet Diaz & his agent need to be total novices at pr when it comes to Jotas death, and what looks like a player using a teammates death as a means to an end, to get that same massive pay bump.

I get that you want to be fair and Slot DOES deserve credit BUT it everything was in place for the man. A team full of Klopp’s Title and Champions league winners plus his 2.0 midfield entering a second season. There was ZERO expectation. Opposition were less concerned about us. 2 points more. Dumped out of the FA cup by Plymouth and the CL at the first knockout stage.

It is fair to credit Slot because he deserves it BUT it cannot be granted without first stating that he won the title with Klopp’s team.
All valid points. He obviously walked into a team ready to go (though not if you believed what the the fans thought about the squad at the end of the season) and was left the club in a very good position.

But the way it's being reported is that he didn't need, nor did he do anything other than babysit Klopp's team.

Slot deserves the criticism he's received this season.

But for me, he also gets the credit for last season's title win.

a manager has to adapt it started to go wrong in september and 17 premiership games later he has changed nothing.
i still believe we have a strong squad and its slots job to get the best out of them,he isnt.

No he isn't, he's making a proper pig's ear of it.

But that's this season, not last.

    Fingers in ears.
You seem oddly obsessed with me kidder. I posted a video of the LFC manager saying he didn't think the crowd was booing. If you won't take his word for it then what chance you take mine?

    Now do one.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.
