So years it is. I have said a few times that I think the lads up top know the squad is disjointed and we're willing to accept a drop this season. In the summer I expect a big outlay on cb and midfield.

We need at least 2 CBs in the summer. But they need to be cb that can start. Konate is going. Virgil needs replacing.

You do wonder how long he can hang on for. If this run of form continues there's absolutely no way we make the top four and after the money spent it's the absolute minimum that would have been expected.
We're still in the CL but the chances of is winning it I'd say are remote and it's a gamble to hang onto that hope.
One question is though is this. People are advocating for Alonso. Personally I'm not sure he's the answer so if for instance FSG also have doubts who do they go for?
Enrique won't be going anywhere until summer, Nagelsman also. Whoever else linked is tied up elsewhere until summer so it leaves them in a real pickle. Stick with Slot and run a massive risk or cut him loose and bring in an interim if it's not going to be Alonso.
