Because he's a one trick pony and everyone knows his game, can't really cut in much in the central role.... just runs into players instead, but every man and his dog knows what he's going to do, it's not working with kerkez behind him either- compare Robbo and diaz... to this... same on the right, it's not all down to trent leaving but he worked very well with salah... the midfield has turned into ghosts once again wirtz easy to blame, but even Grav is off form in my eyes, he was a boss last season.. now a shadow of himself... and maca.... rather have spearing play at the moment.
the results don't even surprise me because of the above, some tough games coming up in the league too, oh dear then again we seem to actually be a bit more arsed against "tougher" teams.
Yep you're right about Gravenberch too. Nowhere near lst season, closer to the first season he had really but the whole midfield is similar. Jones is the only recent one who's been steady without being spectacular.
I'm not having all these players out of form at the same time being on them alone. It's got to be a coaching/managing/motivation issue aswell.
I genuinely can't think of a time at LFC when that's happened, someone may correct me but I certainly don't remember it happening before.
It’s all on the manager players are performing poorly because he needlessly changed how we play
That’s it simple as that
I’m just not having the narrative about the players being to blame automation through continuation of formation and style of play counts for a lot in top level football
Demoralised by the needless changes and the trying to get rid of anyone who doesn’t like playing a way that hasn’t worked in the Prem in 6 years most likely
