We'll see what happens.
Us getting 4 points from our last 15 available while Man United acquired 9 and Chelsea accrued 8 has really knocked my belief that he'll turn it around. The lengthy unbeaten spell needed to start being followed up by wins - the Bournemouth defeat could hardly have come at a worse time.
Still, see how it plays out.

If we're honest we've been largely brutal this season. At times we've shown the ability, particularly against bigger sides but we've mostly been awful to watch, ponderous...content to hang on to possession and then we inevitably crumble when we concede a goal. Complete opposite of what we were as you say....

The important thing is that Xabi is handsome and looks good in a suit. That would lift the spirits of all involved.
Nah. Everybody is jumping on the boring and ponderous bandwagon. It's just not true. Go back and watch some of the goals. Even the clips I've posted in the channels.
Our main issue has been conceding soft goals which is costing us games we should have won.
Xabi is probably watching our games from these season and thinking about what he would change to get the best out of our squad. Just in case that ever became relevant.
The Leeds game stands out in my mind as one of the most boring Liverpool games I've ever seen in nearly 40 years of following them. There have been bright spots at times, often in the first half of games but then second half we just retreat and concede, our confidence goes and any shot into the box could end up in the net......

That's overblown criticism.
We've been poor in some situations, mostly defensively and through the midfield during counter attacks. And we've struggled offensively to create enough clear chances against low blocks. Those would be valid criticisms. As I keep saying, our big players from last season aren't performing.
There are plenty of other things we've done well. Frimpong and Kerkez are starting to provide width and look threatening. Wirtz is just pure class and Ekitike is brilliant. Those two as a partnership are and will continue to be awesome.
