Nunez was a pure striker. In fact you could argue he was a poor signing because he broke the mould of the false 9 that we had been used to playing with Firmino. Klopp broken the golden rules.

Arsenal probably would've signed 2 CB'S by now and at least one attacker Lols.. it's just true, they need a area improving depth-wise, they sort it out.

    Says it all

Meanwhile we tend to be reliable on freebies, sometimes works out or bargains over the last years... and sometimes just injury crooks, that's how it goes.

yes spent money this summer, but too late i'm afraid to much work to do in the summer then we wonder why we look so disjointed now we need to replace the old boys and get better in other positions too, and if we don't act now, could be to late again, but that's the FSG way.

Any other club would be sorting a CB now any club that has some ambition anyway, it's a joke never mind LW/RW

Don't know how you can't see that, the sheer neglect of the squad over the years has led to the summer gone, has led to now, do you think Klopps stupid he knew this would happen probably, but keep blaming 100% slot for everything, not the players, not the owners, not how the club has been run and we've been walking on eggshells for years (by that i mean a few injury's we are in trouble)

The clubs with a lack of depth, even villa because of the injury's they've had are bringing players in, west ham fighting to avoid relegation, more depth

Because depth is key CB area no no6 has been a ongoing issue for ages, and we've still not sorted it- had long enough, it's simply neglect and stupidness ,now guess what we need a LW/RW also, and by time we sign a CB we might need two 3 steps behind whilst others are one step ahead, and you wonder, you wonder ?!?!

wake the fuck up and smell the roses it's simply not acceptable for a club the size of LFC, and last seasons league winners.

Glad we're on 71 pages and signed noone of note good that

how is any manager meant to compete ?

    Clever boy /clap

Jota,Nunez,Diaz all played there not like we didn't need a few is it, we needed proper strikers Jota did pretty well as no9 when he wasn't injured / broken.

Out and out one or not if we didn't sign anyone we'd have been screwed, so yes like I said we was forced

Like we will be at CB fuck thinking about long-term we don't act until it's too late or have no other choice, this is why we're signing noone now, princess if we're very lucky we might get a CB but what are the chances?
Yes so we should have kept Nunez pretty simple his goals and assists record is better than Gakpo’s he presses better, at least is involved in creating chances and breaks lines in opposition defences and caused panic, including from LFWD

Nunez played across the line up too and deeper the plan seemed to be to develop him to do all of it and he did in some games you don’t get many strikers playwright across the line these days his signing made sense

Isak played in a 433 and was effective through the wide forwards being released early ahead of him, so signing him didn’t make any sense it was pure collude territory “Whybeoukd you spend £125m on something you don’t know how to use?”

For what Slot was obviously planning he needed a fox in the box and that’s neither Isak or Ekitije

We still had Jota & Gakpo who could play false 9

Whilst this is accurate now, I wonder how many of our fanbase would have been clamouring for Arsenal's ownership when they would sell star players to direct rivals?

Succession planning at centre-back would be very welcome. There's a fair likelihood that three of our four (Van Dijk, Konaté, Gomez) will have departed by the time the an 18-month period has elapsed.

Someone young like Jacquet to compliment Leoni and then someone in the 24-27 bracket like Upamecano or Schlotterbeck (injury record though?) would make excellent inroads into sorting this out, though it would need done over a number of windows.

    Like Torres to Chelsea?
    Like Sterling to City?

We were doing the same until Klopp rocked up.

    Beaten

West Ham have signed winger Adama Traore from Fulham in a deal worth up to £2m.

The 30‑year‑old moves from west to east London, where he reunites with Nuno Espirito Santo, who managed him at Wolves.
