Agree with you Kev - the only semi-reasonable circumstance I could foresee it happening in is if we had an agreement in place with a club for someone we feel can lift us (or better balance us) and that we've said "we just need to get X piece of business wrapped up first to create a squad space" and said piece of business is Jones.

I want him to stay - especially if the only reason for a departure is a bust-up with Slot, but little point speculating about the hypotheticals.

No chance there’s any truth in that, Dumfries has a €20m release clause which becomes live in the summer. Pretty sure Jones is worth more to LFC than €20m

Yeah I'd be inclined to think any Dumfries interest is for the Summer and is independent of the Jones deal - if any Jones deal is even a thing.

Think he plays RB but can cover CB/DM pretty versatile, so that's good, sunderland fans don't seem happy.
