Stop blaming the players they were pretty much playing from memory last season they naturally moved into positions as they were under Klopp and played the same way and I can see it in almost all the goals

This season Slot has changed a lot has them deeper sitting off more over passing too much not pressing or picking up, they’ve become his players and team proper this season and he’s been a disaster

There's blame to share widely. But in analysing the club, summer transfer window, Slot, the players... Those 4 stand out significantly.

In that 1st half v PSV... VVD looked like he was trying to get sent off. Could've easily got 2 yellows, and a third demonstrating with the ref after the half time whistle had gone. Conceded a penalty in the opening minutes.

I've said he was the only key man to sign up last season of our 3 amigos, and nothing i say will ever take away from his legacy at LFC, but his performances & leadership this year, miles off.

MacA has spent entire 1st halfs out of position. His form dropping has coincided with interest from Real which he & his dad spoke about. Then he goes out talking publicly in the press. Konate like MacA, expected to leave in the summer Real or maybe PSG. Salah spat the dummy & won more broadly it seems.

Thats the size of the problem Slots facing.

Slot will have 1 year left on his contract come the summer.

I don't think he goes before summer though, this stuttering form will see Slot stay in place for now unless it got as bad as that run of defeats.
I'd imagine of Alonso was someone they wanted he'd be there now so I personally believe they'll wait till end of season and just ride this out hoping for the best and taking the hit on missing out if it happens and let's be truthful even the most optimistic fan must think it's a bit of a long shot right now after Sunday.
An interim isn't something I'd imagine FSG going for.
