Can’t ever remember feeling we had played poorly yet scored 5 goals.
We just don’t seem capable of controlling games whoever the opposition and whatever the score

we will always lose games with playing 3 midfielders.. doesn't matter what combination we have.
Then again a 3 of Grav/Macca and Dom is better than Wirtz. Hes not in a 3 or or wide of midfield for me!
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century

It’s the control that is the worry, We are scoring goals at least. If I was to use a word to describe our midfield - it would be ‘confused’
Probably more than a few reasons for that
Agree with this and what Millers said above.
We're on a decent run but I've said a few times it feels hollow, it doesn't feel secure at any point in games. That was not the case last season, there was an assurance and confidence even if we were a goal down you still felt we had that comeback element whereas now if we go a goal down the games is done and that's proved in the stats that we haven't once came from a goal down to win this season.
We'll all take the points no matter what right now especially or at anytime but it's a very 50/50 style we have at the moment. We're not controlling games at all, the opposition often dictate the play.
I just don't see anything to make me think there's a future that looks like it'll be something we go forward with. It's very reminiscent of past managers last seasons where it was just a matter of time before change was implemented.
Slot has mentioned PSG a few times but we aren't even close to being a side like that and even with a fully fit squad we won't be.
We score 5, win easily and yet there's nothing but negativity. Pick a different sport FFS.
Ironically enough my, for want of a better word - "favourite" time to see people discuss negatives/cons within the side or constructively critique certain aspects of it is when we win, as people are generally cheerier, chirpier and more rational, versus the reactionary "oh FFS everything is sh*te" stuff that comes to the forefront when we lose a game. So I tend to prefer to see the dialogue about the nuances and could-be-betters after games we win.
Undeniably a balance to be struck mind - if we can't enjoy wins, what's the point?
