It's pretty simple and it has been all season.
It's not specically the formation, it's the position of the two 'holding' midfielders, one often going past the forwards and the other parked on the top of the D. When we lose the ball the opposition are frequently right on top of our CBs.
It's not just causing a defensive issue, it also 'gums up' our attacking play with so many bodies in and around the 18 yard box waiting for a ball.
