Agree. I'd like to think we could get Olise but there's nothing to suggest he'd leave a team where he's guaranteed trophies and they have an excellent chance of winning the CL this year. They're the standout team at the moment.
Wirtz won't be sold. History says we persist and I'd use Nunez as an example. The only way I'd see him sold is if a new manager comes in and flat out says he's not part of the plan. I can't see any manager not wanting to utilize him in some way.
Agree on Millers point too about the size of our players. We've just become a soft touch and I think that's on Slot.

Bayern were great when I watched them last week Diaz Oliseh and Gnabry were very good Diaz and Oliseh is a top wide forward pairing
Can see Wirtz going to fund a top class wide forward coming in possibly although age might save him, just not seeing the constant threat of creating and scoring we saw from Gerrard, MacManaman, Coutinho, Bobby in a similar role seems to be more a player to link together a short passing game and that won’t work in our league for me
Aye you could be right. I think it'll depend on who comes in to manage. If it were somebody like Enrique I think he'd want to keep him.
I still think Wirtz can be used very effectively if we bring a good DM in, him and Grav ahead of a good DM would be potentially very good. I think part of why he looks ineffective is due to our glaring lack of pace in the team.

100%. It's not even up for debate that, we've been regularly outworked in terms of distance covered.
Obviously that's not the most important aspect but in a very physical league like the prem you are going to come unstuck if it's a regular occurrence.
The intensity has gone from every aspect of our game. That to me is a deliberate ploy and it's as plain as day for what we've seen in the league this season.
I know I'm using Carragher as an example again here but I think he's got it spot on this weekend in a few things he's said.
He's said in sky that he thinks Slot will find it hard to win the crowd back at Anfield now after sunday's debacle. He said it feels like a turning point and I'd agree with that. It feels like it's too far gone now, I've personally not had faith or feeling that Slot could turn it around for a good while and I think most fans are there now aswell.
How I miss Lucho. What I'd give to have him in this team right now.
I agree I do think Wirtz may have been a lot better if we’d retained or replaced Diaz and had bought a new player who could operate at RFWD to bed in as a long term replacement for Mo, they’d commit and move defenders and create more for him to work with
Wirtz has I feel been something of a victim of Slot’s ill advised want to attempt Dutch football, exclusively short passing trying to instil Wirtz as a designated playmaker, that actually broke down a lot of out great exciting play and movement he would have benefitted from and I don’t think it made him popular with sone other players, through no fault of his own.
I think Grav can play DM in a 3, in a 2 it is questionable at times and although a bit of rotation through positions is good, to press and counter press to a very high level you need your No6 locking it down and helping organise players
