Yes, he was much more involved but if you watch back his involvements, most of them resulted in the messing up of an attack. The peno was the epitome of that. You had a feeling that he might miss. Last season, you knew that was in the net. I don't want to bash the guy after one of his best games this season. He just needs to be gone as what I've seen of him this season shows a selfish guy getting paid huge sums and showing a laissez-faire attitude which will rub off on younger hungry players. Salah's been there and done it and I think his attitude shows that in a bad way.

Penalty miss FINALLY forcing the real Mo Salah to turn up? Did Slot finally let loose in the Changing room at HT? maybe he watched Mike Bassett: England Manager.. and thought - you know what - it just might work with this lot?????

Whatever it was... La Bombonera or not - keep doing it... Better than Dj'ing in Ibiza ah Arne?

Will Slot get the message that turgid-ball doesn't work? Or will we revert to type in the league? If we go out like that against PSG we might have a chance. At least we can go down in a blaze of glory. Would rather that than us just tepidly passing it around for 45 minutes only for PSG to kill us in the end anyway.

Fact 1,salah has been shit this season.
Fact 2,salah had a good game last night.
Nobodys saying extend his contract, this season slot has to get the best out of the players he has, formation change is number one but playing salah in and around box instead out on the touchline is another.

As brilliant that performance was last night the thing that annoys me the most is, where have they Been all season ?
We actually out run our opponents which seems like the first time since Spurs last season.

I think the shape really helped him last night, escpecially in the 2nd half.

We were pretty close to the diamond or 4321. Mo played alot more centrally.

    Ali
    Frimpong - Konate - VVD - Kerkez
    Szobo - Grav - Mac
    Wirtz
    Salah - Ekitike

Absolutely, Slot does. The point still stands though. If you watch it back, he screwed up loads of attacks again as he's done most of the season. However, a few came off against a poor Galatasaray team. The big difference was the attitude from the whole team and manager. Repeat that and we could have a good end to the season.
