Another game where we've been outworked.
When the fuck is the penny gonna drop with FSG that this guy is taking us backwards.
You cannot win anything being constantly second best, yet again I'll say it. We are going nowhere under this guy. He's a fraud and needs to go.
    His idea was to play

41212 or 3412 with everything lower intensity short passing old Dutch style going through Wirtz

He lowered training intensity in a bright idea to try and prevent injuries and because he thought he could win the Prem playing low intensity football

The players need a proper pre-season under a proper manager

As I said FSG will look at the table and the form guide and may dump him as the CL is factored into their financial plan

But at least we are consistant.
What's maddening is we have plenty of good individuals here - but if the squad were a recipe, we have lots of quality ingredients that don't gel for a cohesive meal - and the Chef specialises in delicate pastries when we need to make good pub grub.

It's all eminently fixable thankfully, but the right decisions need to be made on multiple levels.

Bit it’s what he recruited for you’ll win nothing in this league without top quality wide forwards and not very many games either

Look at the recruitment bearing in mind he rates Gakpo as a third option to them

    Bought two No9’s

Sold Diaz and Nunez who could play LFWD RFWD 9 and false 9 between them

And planned to phase Mo out which is why Mo kicked off

He plans to play without wide forwards look at today! The only width was from Frimpong and reluctantly from Rio when he was forced to try that

Wide forwards now mostly out score and out assist No9’s and are the very best forwards available

We should be after Diomande and Gordon or Yildiz under Slotvwe likely wouldn’t be in the market for either

I'd be happy to offer Arne an all-expenses paid trip to Ibiza to go and party with his wife. No strings attached. No questions asked. First class. Top-drawer treatment all the way.

The thing is, you have to accept and leave immediately without delay.

......oh, and it's a one-way trip and ticket. We trust you'll be able to find your way home to the Netherlands after that.

We understand you love to go party at places like that before the season is done, so the thinking is, now is as good a time as any.

    What say you, Arne?

I would get on the phone to Jurgen first and foremost he never ever wanted to leave it looks like both Edwards & Hughes are going and ask him if he can start tomorrow and sack Slot tonight

That’s and selling nearly all of our depth cog in the wheel type players too. One thing that struck me was milly schooling our midfield in there while he was on. Especially wirtz. No fancy stuff at all. Just simple sensible and clever play e executed well. That midfield is shite. No character or leadership in it.

I don't think we've got that many good players, never mind consistently good players. When I say good, I'm talking about players that do their main job to a decent level, put in a shift whenever they play, and can be relied upon to at least give you a 7/10 performance in most of the games they play.

If we binned off all the players who really aren't good enough for us, those who are on the decline, and those who are seriously underperforming, I don't think we'd be left with more than a handful of players at best.
