If we binned off all the players who really aren't good enough for us, those who are on the decline, and those who are seriously underperforming, I don't think we'd be left with more than a handful of players at best.
I must admit I feel almost the opposite on that front - I think we have lots of quality players.

I think some are over-used, some don't have enough competition and some aren't being used to get the best from them and we have imbalances, but there are plenty of individuals I'd be keeping here.

We need a few ins, a few outs and unfortunately a change in set-up (minimum) or more likely Manager - but if those issues are addressed I think we would be the 2nd/3rd best side in the League rather quickly and could build from there.

I recall our manager saying a month or so ago that Cody Gakpo was the best LWFD in the world.

Completely deluded. The man has no clue how to stop what has been going wrong all season. I don’t think he really understands what’s going on in front of his eyes.

These lads need to fucking man up ,if only they showed half of the spirit Jimmy Milner showed.
Milner absolutely bossed it in there at times. Goes to show how good he actually was. He’s almost got better after 30. Some difference between him hendo and fab compared to these soft lads

He won’t accept his fantasy looks good on paper plan we recruited for binning of great performers and great off the bench like Nunez

To me his fantasy was that he knew better, that he could reinvent the wheel showing every other manager and the pundits how brilliant he was

He actually thought he could dispense with the wide forwards, now the main goal scorers and assisted of almost all clubs and especially top clubs

And play a 41212 in the old Dutch exclusively short passing style at much lower intensity and tempo with Wirtz as a designated playmaker with Kerkez & Frimpong creating the width and creating

And that he keeps going back to it and fucking us up over and over shows it just isn’t registering he’s spent half a billion on a fucking pipe dream

    Alisson

    Frimpong Konate Virgil Kerkez

    Gravenberch

    Szoboslai_________Macca

    Wirtz

    Isak_______Ekitike

That’s his shit plan that never should have been sanctioned and was never going to work

That’s a tweak to the 433 to ve used against certain opposition but with the front two your two wide forwards so they can make inside out runs and perform in the wide areas

Doesn't matter what shape you put them in if they're not prepared to battle.

He sent them out with the same set up as the Galatasaray game.

We outran Gala. Brighton massively outran us today.

I think Slot is to blame for 90% of our issues. Think today was on the players.

I know why they show a cgi image of the ball - because the video shows clearly that the ball is well behind him - which means he is 100% offside.

However / 3:1 would have been a fair result so

Two counter points to that I'd say are Gala are notorious for being shit away from home and Brighton are tough to play against away.

What's 100% on Slot is that we are right now without doubt the easiest team to play in the league. We are a dream opponent because of how weak and lazy we've become under him.
Everything that made is competitive has disappeared. I don't see how that's on the players. A teams performances is largely a reflection of how they're managed.
There's no plus points at all, not a single one. He has to go.

Miller said just there that he doesn't think he realizes what's going on in front of his eyes.
I think he absolutely does and he's seeing it out until he's shown the door. He knows it won't work.

Agree on all of that except he believes his master plan is still amazing and it’s the players fault or injuries or oppositions fault it hasn’t worked he is both arrogant and deluded

    Things he has said

    “It’s a season of transition”

Transition of what? From greatness to shitness? You don’t get to inherit a winning formation style and team of players, fuck a load of them off and recruit to play something they’ve never played and you’ve never played and claim it’s a tabsitiib when it dissent work as if it’s building up to something better

    “The players are learning”

“I think the fans appreciate style over trophies”

“We have the best left winger in the world”

These are all statements by a man who is in complete denial that his ill thought out plan is absolute shit and completely deluded it is a brilliant plan that it’s everyone’s else’s fault isn’t work

He also said you need money to make these changes he spent 470m in an excellent tithe winning side and reduced them to this
