Thread: City or Arsenal

Arsenal crusing against half hearted Fulham. They've played twice since City last had a PL game. Just infuriating they had fixtures fall like that in a tight title race with City. We didn't in either 19/20 or 21/22 and now 115 fc face a fixture pile up. Such a fortunate season for them with all that from City and our collapse as a team who changed the squad too much as champions last summer. Plus the off field tragedies affecting our mindset.
I don't think Arteta deals with us or City if we find last season's form, hopefully next year.

Unlikely Slot can get last seasons form out of a squad thats going to change again and the uncertainty of how those long term injured will return. I don't think he knows his best 11, how to even set them up if he did and how to use the squad. The individual quality of each player may help us get points in harder games but we aren't a team at the moment.

True, but as today shows they are capable of getting results and it only takes a couple of 3-0 victories to sort the goal difference issue.

Yes. City seem to have trickier fixtures left that you can see them winning by no more than a goal or two.

First time since February, champions elect.

I'd say Arsenal are favourites now, they already have the points on the board and City have fixture congestion, with the traditional showpiece finale of the season, the FA cup final, in the middle of it all.

A good chance goal difference (or VAR!) will be a factor.

City. Simply because I can't stand Arteta.
