I just think Madrid was too soon for him but yes, who would turn down an approach. Maybe a job outside the two Spanish giants in La Liga would've been good to see if he could've challenged Real or Barca. Whilst our job and Bayern wasn't available. Guessing the egos on the pitch and in the boardroom won't be as strong as in Madrid wherever his next job and that'll be of benefit.

We could have gotten Seymeno over Wirzt. he can play anywhere in the front 3 or play off the main man, yet we buy a slow ponderous player. I blame Slot for that signing and it will be the end of him

We could have gotten guehi in the summer if we weren't so ponderous. Imagine the difference he would have made.

I agree Madrid was too soon for him. But he was gonna take it once offered it. Right now there aren't many top jobs, although our one should be available.

He won't go to Bournemouth for example. So in the Premier league it's Chelsea or us. Right now ours isn't available.
