Is he? I dont see Madrid, Bayern, chelsea, city or barca breaking a leg to sign him.
Atletico madrid recently paid £82m for alvarez and 113 for Felix.
Even these clubs have the cash if they really believe.

I mean no doubt hes very good, but sometimes its a combination of things. Perhaps he just had a good season or two, perhaps the lack of pressure and being the main man helped.
Maybe others are scared of his injury record.

Personally I hope the club do not offer a pound more.

Arguably, yes he is - and it is only arguably as I said, so if you feel there's a case against, then by all means.

I do think circumstances help in terms of not seeing others go for him.

Real Madrid - still working on their Vinicius and Mbappe project. Probably unwise to add a 9 into the mix.
        Bayern - already have Kane
Chelsea - probably playing Pedro through the middle
        Man City - have Haaland
Barcelona - have Lewandowski, have financial issues
        Arsenal - went for Gyokores

But I don't think any of this takes away from Isak, nor makes him less desirable. I mean, 21-in-30 and 23-in-34 in the League is scary stuff, so any team would want to have him if it didn't mean a reshuffle.

Hopefully it's us and hopefully Slot's staff can manage the injury side of things - we had a really good season in that regard in 24/25 so long may that continue.

Newcastle have made a formal bid to RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko.

Sky Sports News understands the offer is €75m (£65.5m) plus €5m (£4.3m) in add-ons — which matches Leipzig’s valuation.

But as yet - silence - from Sesko. Which isn't a good thing. He is a Slovene and Newcastle's star power is like a blip - we are talking - inconsequential compared to the scum. I see him going to Old Toilet... but that's my default - go to pessimism speaking..

            Hope to be wrong..

looks like liverpool stirred the pot yesterday-
newcastle put offer in for sesko.
Al-Hilal put offer in for nunez but i think he would prefer juventus.
liverpool interest in rodrygo increase's (instead of isak or replacement for diaz?)

For me Rice & Caicedo were crazy fees, we've paid similar for Wirtz now, however people seem to rate him as a generational talent.
Rice has done well for Arsenal.

He has a goal or assist per minute record at Newcastle that is essentially the same as Nunez at LFC. He's adored at Newcastle and the main man, unlike Nunez at LFC.

Going to be a big step uo for him in terms of pressure, playing 2nd fiddle to Salah and let's see how a big miss goes down in a red shirt.

I think sesko will end up at utd, which is bad news for us regarding isak.

SSN saying the opposite on sesko.

And if he prefers united to champions league with the toon they don't neeed him anyway.
