Its all very well having a well organised defensive shape, and work on set pieces, but you also need a creative instinct. Spurs don't have that. A PSG team, nowhere near match fit, have that in spades.

Thomas Frank welcome to Spurs, the Spursiest of Spursy games. 2-0 up with 5 minutes to go in the match, pulled back to 2-2 in the 93rd.
2-0 up in the penalty shootout end up losing it 4-3.

Mad that there are SIX English sides in the League stages of the Champion's League for this season.

Interested to see how Spurs can do in the League over the coming 2-3 years. Thomas Frank organising them a bit and some decent recruitment and they could maybe take 5th spot sooner or later, though I think this season is probably a tad soon.

Means that both Ten Hag and Mourinho are free if they fancy a pop at the Man United job when it becomes available.

Mental. You wonder what is going on there, as you can't sack a manager after 2 games.

                      This is totally nuts… 3 games…? 3!!!!

He might have turned out to be the next Rijkaard… Is it player exodus driving this?

You would think that would be more reason for ETH to walk rather than the board sacking him!

Their side has been absolutely gutted, so you would think he would have been afforded a little bit of time!

Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp for an initial 21m euros (£18.1m) plus add-ons.

It brings to an end United's interest in Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.

Lammens, 23, is travelling to Manchester to sign a five-year contract at the Old Trafford club.
