Arsenal are pushing to sign Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze......

Don't they have enough attackers ?

Would people rather have Eze,gyokeres,Guehi over just Isak? just asking in theory.

Personally, no - but can see why others would and respect their opinion.

Isak "moves the needle" quite a bit, plus we now have four centre-backs again (though I want another given Leoni's experience, the Konaté situation and Gomez's injury record) and a good midfield - plus the attack (with Isak) would leave us with Gakpo, Isak, Ekitike, Salah, Chiesa with Wirtz behind it and Ngumoha getting minutes here and there.

We'd be close. Given where the squad is right now, I'd far rather have the needle-moving, top-tier specialists because of our current position and circumstances. There have been other times in our history where I would absolutely have plumped for the numbers/depth side of the coin in the binary "one or the other" scenario but I'll take the lad who might get us the extra 5-8 points in key fixtures or get us through a Champion's League knockout tie just now.

arsenal already have 8 attackers that can play across the front-line this will make it 9 crazy couple injured jesus not havertz

        we have 4

Don't see how anyone can say we've got better squad depth than arsenal now all over the pitch, first team i'd say is better.

Gyokeres looks average to me and id rather have Semenyo over Eze.. we need another forward a number 9 and a centre back and im quite happy with what we have

I look at Arsenal and think how they gonna get zubimendi Rice and Ødegaard in a 3 and not be wide open at times.. When they had Haverzt he played as the false 9. They had plenty of cover in Rice Partey and Ødegaard and Havertz also slightly deeper.
The may play more open this season but that also leads to issues. Man-united were actually the better team the other day and should at least got a draw. If Arsenal go in with that 3 in midfield against us and we are on it.. We will cause them a hell of a lot of problems

RB Leipzig have agreed personal terms with Liverpool and England Under-21 midfielder Harvey Elliott, 22, as Netherlands midfielder Xavi Simons, 22, looks close to completing a move to Chelsea. (Florian Plettenberg)

Ahhhh there’s the FSG we know and love….

We'll struggle to fill the bench soon, that or it'll just be a bunch of 17 year olds

I think Tsimikas, will also depart we have 3 options at left back.. Gomez can cover if needs be and right back and obviously centre back. But to reply on his fitness is to reply on Starmer or Trump to tell the truth.

I think Guehi will get done. so should be fine in numbers if Konate stays..
Midfield is okish.. Stefan Bajcetic and Nyoni may get minutes in the DM role and Endo. .

Need another forward. Can't expect Ekitike to play every game.. Id be happy with things then.. Wirtz can also play further forward. we badly need a number 9

                      I feel jittery about Guehi.
Should have had it done before now.
We need another top-class centre back.
If Konate is injured (ooooh that's never happened before) who do we have, to play alongside Virgil?
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

                      • Pretty sure Guehi will get done but we do have Gomez and Leoni, not exactly Henderson vibes but not ideal

                          It will never change..

But then a cursory look at his peers shows Kroenke increasing his wealth with the fellow US billionaire, pandemic/war profiteering elites over the last 5 years from $13.5 billion to $20 billion...a 48% increase.... while our wonderful 'Cigar Smoking Wrinkled Dick' has managed to vastly outstrip him - with a whopping reward... $2.5 billion to $6 billion... a 140% increase.

                            • That's one way of putting it..

Looking a little deeper into the recent surges - one could say this immense wealth and accelerated gain translates into control over the narrative itself. Billionaires own major media outlets—from newspapers like The Washington Post, the Boston Globe to television networks and social media platforms. This allows them to shape public discourse, frame political debates in their favour, and promote economic ideologies (such as the idea that low taxes for the rich benefit everyone) that protect their fortunes. From this viewpoint, the last five years weren't just a lucky break for the rich; they were the culmination of a long-term project to rig the economic and political game, ensuring that whenever a crisis occurs, the system is primed to channel the vast majority of the gains directly to the top.

Yet still - mr Henry is managing to make his record breaking peers - look pedestrian.
