It's not harsh in the slightest - it's not a moan - it's simply asking for more from a player we have tweaked the entire setup for.

if we had a actually had a good player on the left, and the right he'd probably be a lot better... or players actually in form at least and not stinking the place out like Salah.

Think it would help Hugo too, they're not making any space spreading the play or anything, it's all very stale... imagine Mane/Diaz and a prime salah with Wirtz and hugo... different story.

Totally agree... and IF you read my comments rather than just what the shill is trying to spin - you'll notice that I never said any of it was his fault. I don't see that anyone has said that. Some suggested he was poor last night.. I wouldn't go that far but it's a fair comment too. People see things differently.

The point here is that - it would be the fault of the setup... Something a certain poster cannot countenance. Hence the deliberate attempt to derail the theme entirely and make it about people having a go at Wirtz..

I simply suggested we need to see more. He has been superb of late and I thought we missed him yesterday. Mo is getting slated - and Mo HAS been poor but Mo did put the only big chance we really created on a plate for Hugo last night and a certain someone is keen to stick the boot in on him while using lies about what Gerrard has said on Wirtz.

Cody was just as poor as Mo.. Created literally NOTHING.. plenty were poor. Macca to0... BUt this is the Wirtz thread and I think what has been said is perfctly reasonable.

He was ok. I wouldn't go overboard with that. He did the odd silly run towards the keeper at speed which looked ok but was usually completely wasted.

Outside of that he was fucking useless.

We'll have to agree to disagree here I think, which is fine.

15/16 season for example Lallana was a big part of what we were trying to accomplish, helps us reach Cup Finals and whilst it arguably didn't happen often enough over the course of his career, put in performances like the Villarreal semi-final.

Injuries were hard on him but I thought he was an intelligent player with a cracking touch - and thoroughly rated his capacity in the press.
