They're actually starting to pine for the return of Ten Hag back there again.
I saw some over the weekend saying stuff like "At least Ten Hag won us trophies and brought the youth through from the academy"......
....which,....to be fair...is true.
But I really hate to be the one to tell them that Ten Hag just got sacked from his most recent job (at Leverkusen) after just two games.
You'd have to have a death wish (for your career) to take that manager's job after what it's done to everyone who's taken it since Fergie left.'I got told there's an English phrase, 'You don't win trophies with kids'. I didn't know that' ... - Jurgen Klopp

Stubborn and Inflexible? There is another! But to be fair he wo something in his second season....lolOriginally posted by Lee View PostIf I go into a project management meeting with an idea on how to do things, there always has to be an alternative plan b, plan c, plan d. If I keep going back with the same plan a, even though it failed first time, I'd be laughed out of the door. No agile thinking, no fallback, no alternative in case of unforeseen circumstances etc
It's remarkable how stubborn and inflexible he is and in such a dynamic environment as a football match. Without the willingness to adapt and consider alternatives, progress is severely hindered
.... long may it continue, but he looked and sounded like he'd given up last night

we've been nowhere near good enough this season. But if Arsenal continue the win/game ratio would have been difficult to retain the title so finishing in the champions league spot is a must. I know I'm posting this in the Manchester united/Manager thread. But they have spent more than us in the summer.. and still nowhere near good enough .at least we have a base to improve from. they look shit full stop.Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
