It's a poor side. I wouldn't take a single on of their players, Fernandes aside, and only then it would be on his ability.

Amorim has probably overachieved getting them 'challenging' for a top 4 position...

They've recruited appalingly over the last 10 years.

For me, it would take a Klopp like manager to come in and galvanise them, but even then he's not a miracle worker and the club would need to be better in the transfer market.

There are easily 10 clubs in this division with better teams than United's.

Maybe you're right. I don't watch them to be fair so only know them from a distance.

Hopefully Fletcher has a few decent result, Ferdinand goes on his channel saying Fletcher is at the wheel and as a result United give him a 6 year contract

You'd wonder if the comments were made because of a prior/recent conversation where he knew he was on thin ice, or if he has made the comments and that has prompted the dismissal.

Does he get sacked for that result without the post-match comments? They've tolerated an under-40% win rate up to this point and they're only a few points off 4th.
