Yes it's also great that we will have options from the bench. If/when Wirtz gets up to speed we can genuinely have a bench that will affect the game. Imagine late on being able to bring on Salah, Ekitike and Wirtz for example!

Kraut…would be unacceptable to who exactly….? The French call us Les Roast Beef - we call them Frogs. Calling the a German a Kraut is identical—- they eat the Sauerkraut (Picked Cabbage to those who somehow don’t know). And no - it might not be polite but none of it is unacceptable… So yes in my world at least it is acceptable … but there will be overly sensitive woke plonkas around who might like to try and say it’s so.

Fair do’s it highlights the ignorance of so many. However despite Austria desperately trying to absolve itself - post ww2 and dissolve its deep links to the fatherland and Germans in general (they are 100% Germanic peoples who speak 100% German… I guess it’s has many an ignoramus forgetting the fact that Adolf was Austrian.
