As much as we all lamented Nunez for missing big chances he used to come off the bench and really put himself about causing carnage all over the place. A trait not to be sniffed at when you look at what we tried in last 15 minutes tonight. Diaz just a massive loss. Even tsimi with his left peg. We never even put crosses in in the latter stages tonight.

Wirtz slows our play down.. always wants to play at his pace.. I know its early. But if Bayern want him he can go. I prefer the look of Antoine Semenyo. Seriously though we need to make a quick decision on him. by the end of the season. I’m not pining for Nunez. I fully expect in the longer term that isak and ekitike will prove to be brilliant players. Wirtz too. Just in the now it seems we lack options to change things up. Maybe a season of transition ahead as we learn new system.
