We made a few poor decisions not just with the massive outlay on the 2 big signings. Tsimi is a better left back than kerkez and also a good passer and crosser. Elliot had nailed down a role as a bit of a super sub and a goal getter and sssist maker from the bench. Diaz should have been kept or replaced like for like. Quansah wasn’t replaced so we now need to play a midfield player at cb to rest or drop konate. Ekitike was a good signing. We should have got someone to take some salah minutes and if he had a problem with it he can feck off. One thing I reluctantly admired about Ferguson was the ability to make iconic players see that they weren’t bigger than the club. We ain’t doing that. All in all a fucking mess of a window.

For CD - If a player has been told they will not get the salary they believe they are worthy of - or a contract they require at that stage of their career and they choose to leave - that is not the same as saying they wanted to leave and showed a lack of loyalty. A few of our players look like that. For me it's too much of a coincidence for there not to be an identifiable reason as to why our players have dropped off a cliff in terms of effort, composure, fight, unity etc. The one thing that connects them all is Slot.

Robbo absolutely had to be replaced and was.

The only one that wasn't was Diaz, but as mentioned, him not being replaced isn't the reason we're in the situation we are.

City were not even that great, we were incredibly poor and did not compete.
The lack of pace and guile in the final third is ensuring we're not getting results when we play badly, there was plenty of that last season. It's dried up right now.
5/6 defeats in the league is shameful from every one of them because we've 100% deserved to lose every one. No "we were unlucky", we've been fucking shocking and it's not just a "spell".

Yep that's what I'm thinking too.
For there to be a continual theme in those defeats comes back on him. We're continuously losing to teams who are simply outworking us and that's not acceptable at all.

I don't think any manager would turn his nose up at that squad, the complete opposite really.

It's far easier for us at home under the lights with the L4 crowd in full voice. That atmosphere was immense on the Tuesday.
