The way things are going, he's going to out-Amorim Amorim. He's going to stick to this bloody 4231 that noone seems to understand, or stay fit long enough to get used to. Unlike Reuben, we don't have the benefit of 18 months to hit rock bottom before eventually buying a couple of players that actually fit the system and have experience in the Prem.

We've spent 450 million quid and only 60 odd million of that is a fairly guaranteed starter.
Kerkez - out of his depth waste of money
Isak - never needed after Hugo
Wirtz - skillful, but too lightweight
Frimpong - also skillful, but made of glass and actually tiny - is that a good fit for the Prem?

That was caused by the needless change of formation and overplaying

We don’t pick up, everyone’s trying to be in space to receive the ball to make more nothing passes and there aren’t enough picking up and so we aren’t fighting and winning battles and creating intensity through that and great chain reaction pressing and counter pressing and movement

The 433 pressing and counter pressing system creates all the elements of play we’re now missing through not playing it

No and it’s even more fucking annoying as given real money Jurgen never bought flops and they never gave it him to buy top end players except for when we sold Coutinho

Jurgen would make all those players top top players and run through brick walls for him and each other

Absolutely this. Jürgen brought the success but was never given the cash to shore it up. Could that money not have been available before his final season? Was it meant to be for Jürgen but his retiring early tore up the plan? Either way, Arne eventually got the money, but wants to play a kind of football that doesn't seem to work in the Prem without a tightknit group of players who have been together for a while and understand each other intimately. Building a whole team in your image around a De Bruyne is a great idea, but you actually have to make sure you have a De Bruyne in the first place. Who knows, perhaps Wirtz will become that, but even Kevin had to go away to come back great.

Like I said before I believe Slot was brought in as the fall guy after Klopp. Sadly he’s now been found out for his short comings. Recruitment has been a complete fuck up. Bringing in players putting them on stupid wages, keeping old ones and whacking up theres. Team chemistry is on the floor. The lack of squad depth in key areas is hurting us. We have so many players in horrendous form, we can’t drop anyone, they just keep on playing, and getting worst. I said a few weeks ago that I think we have a massive re building job that will set us back years. Now I’m convinced this is the case.

                  I think that’s rubbish

Those players looked like a great team again the last 3 games when Slot reverted to the 433 and put Robbo back in and Bradley was fit at RB we were back on our pressing and counter pressing and had runs in behind and we’re winning our battles so had intensity we were great against Real & Villa and unlucky and somewhat stitched up v City that decision really got to us and we weren’t as bad as the result suggested unlike today

Agreeing with 19 a lot on this. This is not a last 10 games problem we've been fucking septic since losing to psg last year, the 5 in a row at the start of the season was a massive outlier in what has been pathetic form.

Eh, you slated Fab for years.
Keita turned out to be a dud.
Nunez, everyone bar myself wanted sold.

Slots net spend at LFC to date over 2 seasons:
                      €258.4 million

Klopps last 2 years net spend at LFC:
                      €172.1 million

The difference between Klopp and Slot in midfield is.. we had 3 solid midfielders and Firmino who was a false 9.
We never looked like conceding at the back with Matip Virgil Robertson. Trent (when he could be bothered)
and the 3 in front Fabinho/wijnaldum and Henderson.. Firmino dropped in and made us very solid. We did well last season with Gravenberch/Macca/and Dom.. now we never hardly play them 3. cause or injury or other reasons.. the obsession with szoboszlai at RB is a mystery. I can understand we are short in defence and maybe didnt wanna start Gomez in case we had an injury in the centre back area early in the game.. But we took off Konate and still kept Szoboszlai at right back. may as well have started Gomez and not played Jones from the start...

We do not need a player like Jones and Wirtz who hold the ball and play. we need someone who can play faster and quicker..
                        We have that in Szoboszlai..

Unfortunately Slot will eventually be sacked, this week or next week I don't know, but I don't feel he can overtune this situation. The big problem is who we will bring that can put team on track again.

He will given until January I feel. There are no stand out candidates so my guess is, they look at potentials now, give slot till January to see how it goes.

Something really isn't right, it's not been all season, Jota could have something to do it but can't soley blame it on that.... do it for jota they said

                              Disgraceful..........

rather jumping the gun with slot, the recruitment team need to walk, and if slot didn't have that much say in the transfers, well things need to change...

I joked a while ago we're the new man utd

                              we actually are.....

This was Forest's biggest win at Anfield in their club's history and their first clean sheet in 20 attempt

Simply unacceptable the players are a joke, you can blame slot all you want but.... he's just the scapegoat

It’s both Kev. In any walk of life, man management is the biggest part of being the manager. They are accountable but so is he.
