And I am saying what I saw. Which was a slightly more controlled game. As I mentioned just a few days ago and which seems to have become apparent - in the transition from Heavy Metal Football - to Slot ball we played a brand pretty close to my preference. The intensity was still there tho (until march) but players were that little bit less taxed (something I argued with you for years required a bigger squad and led to muscle fatigue ) - shorter less risky passing allied to a more controlled approach - clearly preserved the muscles a little more - allowing Slot to pick from Jurgen's best 11 for enough games to take the title

By march the intensity was gone. Visibly. Not just PSG or Toon at Wembley but plenty other games before and after where we simply got over the line. The mentality instilled by the great German IMO.

Given that most of our players are playing poorly, the biggest culprit when it comes to our current plight is liable to be Slot. What Salah has said means that on top of having issues with Slot, he also has issues with Hughes and Edwards. Maybe one or two of our other players are in a similar position.

Looking at the haphazard nature our transfer business in the summer, combined with the aimless crap we've served up this season, I'd say that many of us also have issues with the same people. No Guehi, no DM, Wirtz signed for a then record fee despite not being natural fit for our team, and both Ekitike and Isak being signed without a coherent plan in place in how to play them both. We're an absolute mess both on and off the pitch.

Until recently i was of the view that things would turn around. Last few weeks I've lost faith that slot knows what he's doing. When you look at how things have gone this season it smacks of someone who is not up to it. Its harsh but it makes you question last season. Its possible he really did just get Klopp’s team over the line and salah was a big part of that.

I agree - even with those deficiencies we should not be where we are. At the least we should be scoring and creating tons but also conceding heaps with our attacking talent.
I am thinking Rodgers failed run at the title.

Far more on salahs side than slots for the simple fact that other than one or two, the entire team is playing bad.

Doesn't surprise me. Before we got isak and wirtz I said we (lfc) should not be spending this kind of money as the owners cant just 'drill' more cash like our competitors. We need to get it right as we cant just let expensive mistakes sit on the bench.

Out of the 4 players mentioned, Konate looks to be the one that's given up on the club. With his performances and contract situation.

I don't agree with what salah did yesterday, but to me it seems he is fighting for his future here not giving up.
