We don't want a managerial merry-go-round do we?

I honestly have no clue what to do. Maybe sitting tight is the best option. Can it get any worse?

I dunno. I'm not sure he'd be willing to give up his pipe and comfy slippers to manage our sorry lot.

The concern is we end up like we were in the 90s or United have been last number of years.

If slot goes, we need to get it right. Or we will be in managerial merry-go-round.

We had it made with klopp. Hard to follow up after him.

You have to go back 70 years to the relegation year to find this amount of defeats

Please don't... I know.. this is the worry and what will likely drive his firing.

One thing for certain, I don't want Gerrard anyway near the manager's job. It would be Ole at Man-united all over again. If he comes and does well for the rest of the season. We'll give him a longer contract.. If we are going for a new manager. It has to be a proper manager. Like Glasner or Iraola

Apart from klopp not sure who's out there, even utd have stopped the manager merry go round and stuck with who they have.cant see klopp coming back,he needed the break and wont be looking for a long term project, not sure fsg and klopp where that close.i think behind the scenes fsg and transfer team see the main issues being the squad and getting players in january is what slot needs.looks like its going to be rough december, need to drop salah and start chiesa in games AND SWITCH TO A 4 3 3.

If he wasn't already in a job, he'd be an excellent until-the-end-of-the-season candidate. We'd be solid, fan sentiment and nostalgia would be unreal on the European nights for a decent tilt......but yeah, sadly can't see it - with huge emphasis on the "sadly" as I bloody adore the man.
Yeah it would be a caretaker role and not sure he'd accept that.

Okay, Jimmy Milner player manager it is then!

He'd have the respect of the players and put them in their plaice. If we are to find the right manager we're going to have to spread our nets wide otherwise we'll flounder.

I don't think this is the time nor the plaice for these kinds of jokes.
