There's a good chance he'll be doing that for a team such a Real Madrid or Man City next season.

Madrid list again tonight. There's a good chance Alonso might be looking for a job very soon. Hmmm...

Be interesting to see a conclusive replay of Casemiro’s challenge that led to a spawny goal

It looks as though the ball is played by him kicking through the Wolves players leg

Wolves are such a free hit for sides right now - I'm glad the Mancs get their second fixture against them towards the end of December (unless the fixtures have changed) so they don't have it at a key period of the season - like just before or after our scheduled fixture against them in May.

Anyone want to bet that we don't pick up 6 points in our two games against Wolves?

                Oooooof that would be painful.

3 of our next 4 League matches are at Anfield and it's one of them - we really need something positive from this spell and you'd hope it would be the one thing closest to a Banker in that run.

I thought that about our latest run...

                  Forest (h)
                  PSV (h)
                  West Ham (a)
                  Sunderland (h)
                  Leeds (a)

That's one of the softest run of games we've ever had and to only pick up 5 points is absolutely criminal.

To be clear, I wasn't trying to suggest our next run of games will be "easy" or that I expect 10-12 points from it - just commenting that we need something positive from this spell and Wolves surely....SURELY is decent chance of a win.

I obviously have hopes for the other matches, but by no means am I taking anything for granted. I do hope we persist with the less expansive set-up for a bit as, despite the collapse against Leeds, we're a deflected goal (Sunderland) and a better Konaté decision (not sliding in) away from having a reasonably good chance at bagging 9 points. We didn't of course, but we didn't look like the side that conceded 10 goals in 3 matches, so I will take the marginal improvements (expecting more draws around the corner) right now so we can say the "rot" has stopped and then try and build from there and see what happens.

That's where this shows this is also on the players. That group should harvest more than 5 points from those games and maybe that's expectancy or a bit arrogant from us as fans but most people would think the same.
The defining moments in our lives are never planned.

It's ok i'm sure Gakpo will rescue us tonight

Well depends if milan have watched us, i'm sure every team does these days but you never know

He's more predicitable than konate doing something rash or giving away some stupid fouls, or looking like he's on a different planet.

I'd give rio a go at this point, at least he has pace to burn, help him develop more... and generally no pressure...

If liverpool making feel anyone down... yes we love the club and all that... but winter can be bad enough for some people.... remember it's just a game..... remember we're not Wolves...... with 2 pts from 15....... remember last season and recent times..... don't be sad it's over be happy it happened..... and this squad with a few additions will be back next season.....

For now, take a breath, and roll with it, that's football....... it's a rollercoaster....... especially us...... would be a bit boring otherwise wouldn't it ?like Bayern in germany, but that's just my opinion

You might just get your wish. Especially since Gakpo hasn't travelled with the squad.

Oh.. I've just seen he's out till christmas too.

Not exactly happy about that obviously we're already short on numbers

but honestly, I just think this season now should just be building and focusing on the future, life without salah..... I think VVD will be here one more season- but can we count on him to start every game and be good enough still ?

End of a era... things take time.... after the mad window of changes it was never going to be simple

P.s FFS TRENT!!!!!!!!! people talk about henderson being under-rated but jesus..... I suppose trent is to blame for conceding 3 most weeks now yes ? noone mentioned salah not tracking back last season.... when he had his best season imo..... not as much as this season anyhow...... but yes trents fault.

Now we can turn to blaming and hating Salah instead a club legend who's been incredible for us, instead of a lad who's been at the club since he was 6, shameless.

I must say this new set-piece coach needs to go though, I don't think we've ever been so bad at defending or taking them, we're not a asian team...with the average height of 4ft
