Let's get into your next conspiracy after you explain my post above. He complains about being on the bench (or not starting) 6 times in response to a single question. How does that help Slot?

        For the simpletons:

The reason Salah's outburst inadvertently helps Arne Slot is because it acts as an immense media diversion… by escalating a simple benching complaint into an unprecedented public crisis, Salah instantly shifted the entire narrative away from the core problem of Slot's failing on-pitch tactics and poor results, which were previously the main story predicting his "impending doom."

Now, every major headline and talking head is consumed by the far juicier drama of the star player's massive ego, his potential disciplinary action, and his threatened transfer to Saudi Arabia, temporarily removing the intense, results-based pressure from Slot and placing the club's authority and hierarchy under the media microscope instead.

That reads like AI generated slop. But don't let that get in the way of a good conspiracy.

In any case there's a really easy way for Salah to help Slot out. Score a few goals on the pitch. No need for 4D chess via the press.

And as most of us know, there is no conspiracy theory at all in this suggestion.. It's a simple statement grounded in reality.

Anyone - feel free to argue against the fact that Salah has absolutely taken some heat of Arne Slot through his outburst.

Please it would serve as a good expose on the human condition

Not sure where the consipiracy theory element has come from!

But I would absolutely agree that it has taken some of the spotlight away from Slot. Instead of talking about taking 5 points from 15, from 5 very, very winnable games and a complete capitulation against Leeds we're now going to be talking about Salah's outburst.

Though it wont take long for the spotlight on Arne to intensify should we not drastically improve in both performance and results.

Salah hasn't done this to highlight Slot's tactically deficiencies, or Edwards/Hughes transfers or the Owners running of the club. He's done it because he's been dropped and he thinks he should be playing. It's pretty simple.

I still think he should have been dropped, and I still think Slot is making an absolute pig's ear of this season.

As for the actual topic of January...

If we (and the club) think Salah's legs have gone what is the likely transfer fee for selling him? Would we get enough to cover the £60m Semenyo fee?

I'd also be tempted to move Mac on and bring in Wharton, which wold release Grav to play further forward. Unfortunately Mac has been terrible for the best part of a year now. At what point is it no longer 'just form'.

We're trying to bed in too many new players as it is. Adding more would be stupidity.

Salah to go in Jan and we make do until the summer.

Better to do it now, and give them 6 months so they're all ready to go at the start of next season, otherwise we're going to have excatly the same issue next season.

Not for me. We need to have a settled side that accommodates Bradley, Frimpong, Kerkez, Wirtz, Isak and Ekitike. We need to sort that first before adding any more.

To me Frimpong and Kerkez look like they would function better as wing backs, rather than full backs.
If Glasner comes in, as is rumoured heavily, then that would work out.
We need a Centre Back immediately. That young Itlalian lad looked great in his debut cameo before doing his ACL. And then we missed out on Guehi last minute. so we have got only a catastrophic Konate, Gomez maybe at a pinch (he's better at full back) and a strangely off colour Virgil v Dijk.

I dunno.. I kept saying last season what a false economy it was to be applauding the club for NOT landing a number 6. Many people were parroting the TV media with the line 'Blessing in disguise'..?

It wasn't at all - we would have gained more points most likely and had Grav's ability added to the attack, which as we all know, was heavilly reliant on Mo Salah's goals and assists.

If we do splash in Jan.. it's yet more players to integrate though.. I mean that was one of the limiting factors in Klopp's last season along with the injuries imo. Entirely new midfield in one summer.

At this point all we can do is HOPE that form arrives. As I have maintained - we haven't bought shyte.. IF we had won that game v Leeds we were in a decent place.

                                Not sure where to next..
