I'd MASSIVELY be prioritising the stabilisation of things via a centre-back or defensive midfielder, especially if we continue our current efforts at being defensively more solid.

If we can get habit of keeping clean sheets or "only" conceding once, then it's a good platform upon which to build for the likes of Ekitike, Isak etc and if we are in need of width, we're absolutely capable of making tweaks to get some of it from our full-backs when they're available.

But yes, both defensive and attacking upgrades would be lovely - if viable.

Yea Sid that would be my priority also , whether that is guehi or someone else I think it has to happen on Jan the 1st , we appear to have stabilised a bit at the back and have to keep that momentum . Frimpong still to come back in and can be utilised , I would love to see a semenyo type player added as well

Pressure is on the club. Even Lynch has openly mentioned the fact that only 1 senior (questionable) Centre back has been acquired since January 2018. It’s Jan 2026 in 2 weeks!!!’

And it needs highlighting - especially in light of the crazed voices having a pop at our man mountain Virgil, who’s almost single handedly been our outfield defence for 8 blooming years…!

We need to do better in the transfer market going forward. Obviously Ekitike was an excellent signing.. and i think Kerkez is now settling in nicely. Not had a chance to see Frimpong yet. Isak needs help in the attacking sense. he needs more to be around the box and he'll get goals.. Im still undecided on Wirzt. but we'll. Its not all doom and gloom. I never thought it was.. we just had a bad spell.. I think we'll improve as the season goes along. would be very difficult to win back to back leagues anyway as long as we get in the champions league for next season, and then we go again next time around.

I'd love to see Jérémy Jacquet arrive here but I admittedly have a soft spot for a certain age profile.

I like seeing players develop and become Boss - more satisfying than buying "ready-made" when it works out and he could definitely be part of the next iteration of this Liverpool side.
