That was obviously going to happen. Hughes & co thought we’re wait until the summer, get him for nothing. Shitty need a centre back so they get a proven one. We desperately need a CB and need homegrown players adding to the squad. We were only prepared to pay £35m for a proven, homegrown England International CB, so why would we pay £20m for Guehi??
