I'm at the point where I'd rather see Elliott coming on as sub than Chiesa. Nothing personal but Chiesa's just nowhere near the level we need. Whether or not he leaves this window might depend on if Elliott comes back. That whole situation with Villa is messy. That was 20 days not sure how accurate that is, surely Villa can cut the loan?

On Elliott, I read that he can't play for another European team this season hence the interest from the USA. But he would be allowed to play for us again. There was talk of Villa having to pay us a fee to cancel the deal rather than us recalling him.Comment
