So far it’s obvious why he doesn’t start. Wolves are the worst team in the league. Maybe the worst team the PL has ever seen? And so far he has been ok.

Funny that when we got Frimpong in the summer, he seemed a bit underwhelming, but he does make a difference, doesn't he. A bit of an enigmatic player, and you think he is lightweight defensively but he seems ok in that respect, and offers a lot going forward.
You can also see how much the players appreciate Wirtz too.

amazes me people say wirtz isn't suited to the prem, but noone mentions Chiesa because of some stats... truth is he could do with a slower, less physical league, but here we are.

I was thinking during that first half that the league looks just a bit too quick for Chiesa. It makes sense to bring him on for the last 20 minutes when the games maybe slow a little.

2-0!HT decent ish half a little lacking in tempo and intensity both goals came from a player beating a player or being released past one and we need a couple more players able to do that

Need to move it quicker and condense play into an area thrn move it quickly to the other side where we have 2 in acres of space more in the absence of players who can beat a man as that enable all our players where the play was condensed the run in their defenders

Switch, medium diagonal or two passes to quickly move it to the other side

Chiesa’s done well, released Frimpong to assist with just the right angle and weight of ball, good signs he’ll link up really well given more minutes there

Pressing and counter pressing has been better, need a bit better balance of players picking up as thry can move from there to make a darting run to be found when it opens up you crowd yourself out with too many looking to be in space and don’t get those short darting penetrating runs

Come the FUCK on Liverpool be a bit better second half, great intensity variation and dynamism use the entire width both sides quickly going from one to the other

Chiesa released Frimpong twice to create with the weight and angle of pass he doesn’t get from anyone else

He’s got plenty more in quality to make up for any considered lack of pace
