Still, Frimpong is a joy-inducing player and more attentive to defensive duties than you might expect for one so attack-minded, so hopefully we see him excel while Conor gets a chance to work his way back.

Well if frimpong can't play at RB and defend, we'll have to bring a RB in simple as that, as well as the other positions we need, bradley is not reliable.

Yep - becoming the norm for him unfortunately.. Might be that his earlier injuries were complied by him still growing though. let's hope that's the reason and he isn't going to have his career blighted by it.

Wirtz as a 10 off Ekitije will never be as good as Suarez Sturbridge Sterling and Hendo yes Hendo he bagged 12 that season I think and assists

The beauty of having two wide forwards with the ability pace and power it Mane and Mo and why it’s infinitely better than 4231 is they occupy 2 players, so you can go one back, switch, and gave the other 1v1 the other side

They needed to be doubled up on and could take 2 or 3 players out of the game easily

Constantly making those runs in behind kept oppositions back 4 or 5 penned back limiting their options to attack us

Diaz and Semenyo would have given us the sane effect only not as good but still very very good and in combo with Ekitike in a 433

Such a waste of money this summer we’ve spent 430m and weakened ourselves

Coutinho & Sturridge were recommendations from Rafa but great signings Lallana and Milner great I think Bobby was signed for Jurgen

Can was great probably the best six we had under Jurgen he just didn’t see the big picture

Oven signing pissed me off, I wanted Virgil from Celtic when we signed him

Like I wanted Kompany for the paltry fee he went to City for and a Carragher to be shown the door

Hendo was a top player and a top captain

Whenever other former top midfield pros where on punditry he got his dues as thry know it’s his leadership his being the manager on the pitch and his ‘know how’ they loved that, knowing and doing the exact right thing to do a very high percentage of the time

Would prefer to see Frimpong further forward and get a proper RB in there. Then move Salah more central and have him closer to goal when he plays. Doubt any of that will happen though cos Slot just does the same thing every game and hopes for a different outcome....
