No chance. means he will have less than 6 months then,in his time at the club. Slot has only 1 year left in the summer. he'll be gone in the summer no matter what happens now. Unless we win the champions league.. Even if Arne wins the fa-cup . hes finished.. He may not even see the season out if things get even worse.Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century

I come and go as I please. It has nothing to do with you or anyone else. You are irrelevant to me. Got that?Originally posted by ianlfc View PostYou're wasting your time, the sooner you all realise this, he'll fuck off like the last time.
Think I'll stick around for a while now actually.Last edited by JockStrap; 17 January 2026, 07:38 PM.

So they all decided to down tools at half-time when we were 1-0 and dominating the game? Is that it?Originally posted by pob View PostHe has to go now, surely. Clearly he's lost the dressing room based on that second half performance, and there's no coming back from that. Just sack the c*nt ffs.

Only going to end one way sadly, just delaying the inevitable, not good enough the downfall from last season is a disgrace for utd to be 1 point behind after finishing 15th, and we finished 1st by a mile...... wow.
Individually players are getting better Wirtz etc as a team it's not happening
if drawing to leeds x2 Burnley fulham and sunderland(at home) is a improvement well ok
but at least we beat the mighty wolves and a shocking spurs.
at least salahs back soon, hopefully we won't find it so hard to score goals.... 1 shot on target 1 fucking goal, 32 shots 11 on target 1 goal we always make it so hard to score, and whoever we play it's normally a piece of piss.Last edited by Kev0909; 17 January 2026, 10:55 PM.

Awful results against mediocre teams who park the bus. Its hard to watch on TV but even harder at the ground. Said it all having fans leaving before the final whistle.Originally posted by Kev0909 View PostOnly going to end one way sadly, just delaying the inevitable, not good enough the downfall from last season is a disgrace for utd to be 1 point behind after finishing 15th, and we finished 1st by a mile...... wow.

I can't remember that happening during the Klopp era, their keeper had it far too easy.

Nothings changing, that's the main concern, I feel like the players are not too happy with him, but who knows, I don't for one second believe a team of this quality, which the first 11 is.... and premier league winners suddenly playing like this.Originally posted by ianlfc View PostAwful results against mediocre teams who park the bus. I've backed slot the whole time, but my patience is thin now, the upcoming games are key we've got a bit of a tough run it's not that bad but bournemouth away city and newcastle at home sunderland away... I think it'll decide his future, forest away towards end of the month won't be a walk in the park either, only counting league games *Last edited by Kev0909; 17 January 2026, 11:00 PM.

Now Xabi is on the market we would be crazy not to go get him.Originally posted by Kev0909 View PostNothings changing, that's the main concern, I feel like the players are not too happy with him, but who knows, I don't for one second believe a team of this quality, which the first 11 is.... and premier league winners suddenly playing like this.

Having managed Wirtz before he knows how to get the best out of him, not just for the odd 45 minutes .

yeah if slot does leave, he's a obvious choice- considering we'll be building the attack around Wirtz-Isak-Hugo... just need a couple of wide forwards in the next year or 2, but I don't know when and if we'll get them as obviously other areas need to be sorted.Originally posted by ianlfc View PostNow Xabi is on the market we would be crazy not to go get him.

I’d take Jurgen back until the end of the season for starts
Watch the recent BBC thing they asked if he’d come back and he said he would
He knows the majority of the players and the club it would be the lowest risk thing to give us all a massive boost and the best chance of making top four
He’d have his work cut out because the summer ‘recruitment has significantly weakened us from when he left"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”
