The result against bottom club wolves was bad enough but the performance was worse.i admit every manager would struggle to get anything out of this seasons 2 passengers salah & gapko but control the game with a midfield 3.
Time for slot to go while there's still a chance of top 4,slot has had plenty of time to try and change things and hasnt.

A good manager at least tries to change things when its not working but slot has stuck to his formation and would use the tea lady as his 10 if he had to.this team is playing without belief,no belief in formation,tactics,themselves or the manager,if faced with another season under slot there will players looking for a way out.
Being in next seasons CL is more important than still being in this seasons CL with the games we may have to play.

I'll see after the summer after Gakpo & Salah doesn't start every game, and Isak is back but if carry's on after new signings and them 2 not starting, he can go- but hopefully that changes things (salah and gakpo not starting every week), surely so hopefully things can only get better, if not he can go.

As much as we and Slot are struggling, it's nowhere near that 6 months of Hodgson. Hodgson had us put everyone behind the ball in our own half and playing like Burnley. It was truely dreadful to watch.

However, the Owl didn't have the same level of players that Slot does.

Absolutely.. I'd go beyond the players we have though. No way Slot was ok that Diaz was sold without replacement. I don't believe that. Also I don't buy that he wasn't more than keen on a CB. These were de-prioritised by H'edwards...on behalf of you know who... I'm all but certain.

However -using Salah and Gakpo to explain why we are garbage in midfield AND holding the receipt for the worst record in Premier League history for last gasp goals conceded...is not going to wash.. We have 9 games left to play FFS.

I said a few weeks ago, we are what we are now until the end of the season. We'll have some Wolves/Forest like performances and then some better ones. Do I enjoy that, fuck no. I enjoy watching Wirtz and Ekitike. Kerkez and Frimpong are quite often good. Robbo is generally decent. The rest have been mostly shite.

We just need to limp through until the summer and try to finish top 5 with a good run in one of the cups. We might catch Villa/Utd but it's looking less likely by the week. Anyone with higher expectations than that is deluding themselves.

I think salah sadly is having more of a effect than his performances also btw, reckon it's pretty toxic behind the scenes but what do I know, I know there's more to it though a player doesn't just go to his level just like that, he's obviously not fucking arsed.
