So whats your excuse for spending 400m on a title winning team with a title winning manager playing so badly,losing 9 games by march,including to teams in the bottom 6.not a blip,no sign of improvement,a title winning manager who refuses to try something different,opposing managers know how we are going to set up,know how we are going to play and know how to beat us,low block and hit us on the counter.tell me why a top,title winning manager is getting out thought every game.Originally posted by JockStrap View PostComment

Nothing will get better until we tighten up at the back. We are so open, disorganised and error prone that any team with the tiniest bit of attacking intent can score against us in the blink of an eye without so much as breaking sweat.Comment

if slot keeps his job then we are going to see more of his 4 2 3 1,hopefully with the right players it can work.
macallister is to slow to be a 6 and jones inconsistent,next season szoboszlai and a decent DM might work.

And we won the league?
Yet people still can't give Slot any credit for that? like we win it every year and it's not important? not important Klopp left and everyone was on a bit of a low, but Slot came in.... and he fucking did it- surely that's harder for him? add to the fact new country league, huge job and footsteps to follow, but he did it lads, like it or not he won the fucking league, in his first season, 2nd in over 30 years, be fucking happy.
Not his fault FSG are slack and we had to do too much in the summer & Squad still thin & was no forward thinking and Jota's death & the old boys not on form etc etc etc.
Like I said, need to give him next season if it's not working after a whle then i'd agree- but let's get a few more faces in, not watch gakpo & salah every week......and we'll see what happens, because at I guess i'm guessing we'll play a bit more exciting football and not slow as fuck... can't imagine why.... cough.Comment

We are terrible.
The players have no clue what they are supposed to be doing, there appear to be zero tactics. We are even worse when we have a full week to prepare.
Defensively inept and dull upfront with a midfield you could drive a bus through. We have been like this since we accumulated enough points to win the league.
You cannot deny it you cannot cover it up, this manager is not improved our team we are getting progressively worse the longer he has them, the more he coaches them.
Yes we should have gradually changed the playing staff over a number of years rather than too much at once but Jesus wept we are way WAY less than the sum of our parts.

He's got the squad he wanted yet there's absolutely nothing at all to suggest there's anything to look like a future going forward. It's lifeless and limp and we make hard work of every single side we play no matter what division or country they're from
