              He's not worth talking about.

              • It was a pretty ridiculous argument trying to support a manager clearly way out of his depth.

Agree. Whilst we obviously don't want us going down the Utd route if sacking manager after manager it's been clear for some time now that this isn't working and the big worry now is the longer it goes on it could do serious damage going forward.

The players have thrown the towel in on him and have done ages ago. The downward trend started a tear ago but it's really come to the fore this season, the whole campaign has been seriously poor with very few highlights and it begs the question what are they actually waiting for?
The only reason I can think is that he's going to be given next season or at least the chance to start it.
I can't even begin to describe how I'll feel if that's the case. It'll be devastating.

I can only think that alonso isnt the target and fsg are happy to bite the bullet and wait.

The opportunity cost of that is troubling - I mean, if we were to get Alonso in, there's hardly a better time for him on a selfish level.

He knows he'll be loved more than the current manager, he won't be blamed if we aren't an immediate success given the drop-off of some of our lads and he has two of his former players to work with in Frimpong and Wirtz.

In his shoes I'd be all over the job, especially if we squeak into the Champion's League spots at the end of the season and thus have more to spend.

Unless he wants the Man City job or something (heaven forbid) I think he's potentially sitting on a Golden ticket.

Aye I've said on here a few times that if Alonso was the one they want he'd be there. There'd be absolutely zero point in waiting.
                            Hopefully it's Enrique.........

                            • Does a psg hammering next week see him gone? Surely does at this stage

                              • I can't see Enrique leaving PSG. If it's not Alonso that the club are lining up to replace Slot, they better be drawing up a world leading salary and complete controll of transfers package to try and tempt Klopp to come back.
