  • If Gomez's ability to provide long term cover for Bradley at RB is questionable, surely that means we need both a RB and a CB? Given that we've needed a quality CB and DM for a while yet FSG still haven't addressed those issues, I wouldn't put good money on them bringing in a quality CB or possibly any other quality player this month.

Yes frankly the squad is too thing, then add on the injury prone players that spend more time injured... few more injury's we're fucked

We already are fucked. It's now a case of whether we can drag ourselves over the finish line in terms of qualifying for next season's CL.

        • It's very unlikely they'll buy a RB when there's four players who can play that position.

And none of them would play RB for city, arsenal, real madrid etc.

Squares in round holes.. doesn't win you anything.

Only bradley would be backup and that's even if he's fit for said teams, Szob can do a job but he's not a right back- and weakens the midfield and like I said it's not like we're loaded with quality options in there, we're not arsenal.

Frimpong isn't really a RB hence slot plays Szob there instead and frimpong more forward.. gomez is more of a CB not like a modern day RB

Agree but there's absolutely nothing to suggest FSG would do that when there four who could do a job there. The CB situation is an example of it. With Leoni not likely to feature this season you'd expect a CB signing first, especially as Guehi was obviously wanted in the summer.

              • Out of interest who would you go for at RB if they were to get one?

I'd take Porro from spurs and Van de ven for CB

But probably better options out there, and you are right other areas needed first, CBx1 possibly even 2... and a attacker / midfielder..... that's what I mean we're quite far off being complete after the best rebuild in history.

                  • I'm not massively convinced on Van de Ben's actual defending, not seen a huge amount admittedly. Obviously he's very quick and gets the odd goal.
Romero would be a good signing despite being an absolute twat.
I'll be disappointed if Guehi goes to City. Still hoping he ends at Anfield.

                    • If Guehi goes to Man City, Michael Edwards and Richards Hughes need sacking. That, a shed load of cash, and control of a big transfer budget every season might tempt Klopp to return. Well we can but dream.
