OR do we forget that part? City played mid week, we had a week to train and rest and yet they finished the stronger.
No they didn’t only the one big chance Alisson saved

    We created more second half

Exactly. And resilience is borne out of confidence - the confidence that other sides would be scared at Anfield.

Not so long ago, if we needed a last minute goal we would invariably get one, or if we were two ahead, teams would simply give up. We used to play into the 100th minute. Now we give up at 75 every match? Why? It makes no sense. Does Slot really think we can roll the ball around for the last 20 mins in the PL to manage a game? That is what seems to be happening. The result is now noone gives up when they play us, because they know a goal is potentially always just around the corner. It's infuriating

Konate has always had a brain fart in him. Everyone knew he was in his last year, yet the club didn't sign a cb for him? What could slot do? Not play him if he felt that Konate was trying to get him sacked.

Macca? Don't play him if you think he is trying to get you sacked.

Players form dips, but to suggest after last season winning the league they are trying to get him sacked is a bit of a reach in my opinion.

Maybe it's the tactics that are making them look bad?
All of them are way off last seasons form to a man.

Salah speaking to the press, tried to get Slot sacked.

MacA speaking to the press, tried to get Slot sacked.

VVD 1st half v PSV looked like he was trying to get Slot sacked.

These I'd suggest are fair conclusions ^^^

Konate tbf just has the brainfarts & contract up and likely off to Real/PSG.

Whatever we want to say about the summer window,
where reasonably a CB, 6 & Wide-Forward would have filled out the squad,
The players on the pitch have to take responsibility for their performances on the pitch.

We are 2 points above Everton.

39 points after 25 games. Embarrassing.

As said, if Slots sacked it certainly looks similar to Alonso at Real, player power.

Really? In the game I saw City were the better side.

The had 3 big chances, 2.60 xG, and 6 shots on target.

We had 1 big chance and a 30-yard free-kick. The better team won at Anfield today, VAR drama aside.

What were the big chances first half? Haaland and Senenyi speculator from way out

            Sexcong Silva and?

Even if the players are largely to blame for our current situation, it's still on Slot to instill the required metal attributes into our players. If those players are unwilling or unable to become more resilient it's on Slot to find solutions even if it means doing things such as dropping players and playing fringe or youth players. I mean as it currently stands what have we or in this case he got to lose?
He's carried himself more professionally than VVD, Salah & MacA.

Each of these got 9/10s from me in ratings for last season. The highest scores i gave out 9/10.
This year, I'd find it hard to argue any of these 3 are fairing better than Slot.

As said, if Slots sacked it will have shades of Alonso at Real, player power.

              • Teacake had two great chances, Wirtz one, Mo one, Szobo hit the target prior to the FK Macca had one saved by a Workdlie

I’m talking about the entire game on the big chances. They had 3 - we had one.

Silva to Haaland first few mins

                  Silva goal

                  The Penalty

As Liverpool fans we can see things differently but those were Cities 3… How many did we have? Our only big chance was Hugo’s fluffed header. Doms FK is a goal out of almost nothing

Great chances are many - City had plenty of- Semenyo smacks one right at Becker - watch the game and you will see the team with the most chances won the game

Honestly dude - that stats also back up what the eyes saw.

We were hopeless first half got better second half as they tired - but they were still a threat and they finished the stronger. The crowd helped us and played their part - but we have to hold our hands up and say the better team won. If ee play like they did today at the Emptuhqd most of ilks are in dreamland.

                    • I only saw the last 10 mins of a chaotic, basketball of a game.
As I've said before. Key moments determine games. Once the players cross the white line the managers influence is marginal.
Ali brings the guy down and Donna gets a chance to use all 6-8 of him. Theme the breaks.
I like Slot. I don't like our players.
If Arsenal or City had the pick of our squad they're not picking many.
We need a complete overhaul, as we did end of last season.
It's probably too late but come on City. Wreck it for Arsenal again.

                        Professionalism ≠ Ability

Each player is responsible for their own performances and professionalism. Slot is responsible for how he uses those players and how he deals with their lack of professionalism.

You’re being overly generous to City and miserly to us

Alisson had 3 saves Haaland and Semenyo’s effort first half which was akin to Szobo’s shot from outside the box

Macca drew a worldly from Donnakebab Wirtz was blocked Ektike missed two big chances

Not much between the two teams

De Zerbi’s a better choice than 3 at the back

                            • I know De Zerbi’s also likes 3 but can play 4 and a press and used the switches and diagonals a plenty at Brighton

I’m not being overly generous really - I am simply using Optaz Also we don’t have a shot on goal until 54 minutes. At home..?

Honestly it’s nothing personal at all I have no want to be kind to City. Just going by their definition of ‘Big chances’ - which are determined by XG
