He coaches them, sets the team up, decides tactics, makes the subs. Yet, it's all down to salah, vvd and macca. They are below the standard they set, yes. But the manager needs to fix that. Drop them, like he did with salah. Yet not much changed when salah was out.

I look at it like this If you put Macca Grav and Szobo in a midfield 3 it’s an awesome midfield 3

Newcastle do really well widen JoeLinton Tonali Bruno are fit and our 3 is much better than that and I think you can play Wirtz at LCM with his increasing strength and pressing and counter press he does a proper shift

It's borderline delusion at times.
Talking about how much we've improved the last four months that's yielded four league wins. 1 since Jan 1st and seen us drop out of the top four.
A major optimist would struggle to see us getting out of this now, we just don't look like we've got anything near what it takes.

I’m just curious why Slot would rather play Slobo at full back rather than Robbo. I know Robbo is in decline but I still think he can do a job on either side.

That's the sort of thing I'd happily be looking at in the "if I were the Manager" spirit but I suspect the reason will be about not wanting both left-backs on the pitch simultaneously. If Robbo plays and ends up injured then we are down to one left-back on top of the other depth issues in defence - suspect that would be a component in not making that sort of selection call.
