That would mean Palace still having 11 players on the pitch.. Means their team Man-united would have more of an issue getting the 3 points..
Reminds me of the incident against Brighton at the end of one season. Where Diaz scored from a long ball down the line. Brighton's keeper came out and smashed right into Diaz.. We were going for the league late on in the season.
It was a clear red.. but it given it would have meant they'd have to change their keeper and have 1 less player on the pitch. that wouldnt be fair. even if its actually the rules.

It can still be a red if there no attempt to play the ball, but he lets go and the foul started outside the box, it’s a dive and Kavanagh couldn’t wait to give it
