Hadn’t thought about that … a positive when we really need one. We haven’t been good against the relegation threatened teams

😂😂 we need to be relentless 433 should be enforced in SlotOriginally posted by miller0863 View PostHadn’t thought about that … a positive when we really need one. We haven’t been good against the relegation threatened teams
False 9 Gakpo Ekitike inside left forward he will do A LOT more from there than either of our current wide forwards I’m sure
Get Szobo and Frimpong putting quality deliveries in from the right for him to come on to too (tutu) 😂"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

Immediately thought of Old Trafford when we were 4 up by half time against them under Kloppo."If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

1 point from their last 5 league games isn't it?Originally posted by darrenpotter View PostSpuds are going down aren't they look absolutely done for.....dead only to wash them
Forest and West Ham are picking up some points, Spurs aren't.
I remember there was a poster on here swore that Spurs were going to be far better than us over a 10-year period or so and it's an opinion a lot of Spurs fans held too (Poch era) so it'd add to the hilarity for me if we saw a side that built a stadium for Champion's League football playing their Home matches in the Championship next season.
Richarlison belongs there

They have a bit of the filthy about them that’s for sureOriginally posted by faridtoxteth View PostBut what about those Spurs fans, leaving at half time, deserting the team when the team needed them the most.

A shame it's gotten to this, as we are doing some fundamentals "right" (have apparently conceded the least shots of everyone from open play, besides Arsenal) and we keep possession well etc but it's just not a particularly fun watch right now is it? Results AND performances are both underwhelming which is....well, frustrating and somewhat insipid, we'll say that.Originally posted by Gurthers View PostAgreed, we're absolutely dire under Slot.
What I would be curious about (alternative Universe machine....) is how we'd look this season with two wide players that are performing properly. So many shots from Salah are missed or blocked, same for Gakpo, suggesting individual error and inability to beat the man/time the shot/pick the correct shot and if we were more incisive....how much better would things look, if at all?
5 points better? 10?
Not to mention the effect this has on the full-backs - how much of Kerkez's limited attacking contribution is tactical instruction versus Gakpo not passing to him? Would Frimpong overlap Salah more often if Salah showed signs of recovery pace?
None of this said to "excuse" Slot by the way - I just wonder how much better things might look with better wide players.Your hobbies are rollerblading and you're also a bit of a rat-hound? Steel Wool

My apologies miller, you're quite right of course.Originally posted by miller0863 View PostNonsense, the manager’s fault? Get on board the Slot Express ffs Gurthers, so what if he coaches the team, selects the team, motivates the players, gives them the tactics and formation to play… it’s not his fault.

It's hard to know sid. It would be interesting to see if we were better off with Frimpong and Rio getting more game time than Salah and Gakpo.Originally posted by Insidious View PostA shame it's gotten to this, as we are doing some fundamentals "right" (have apparently conceded the least shots of everyone from open play, besides Arsenal) and we keep possession well etc but it's just not a particularly fun watch right now is it? Although I'd say our performances since last March, when we still had Diaz, have been insipid. It didn't just start this season.
