Champion's League qualification "races" are so ridiculously messy compared to those for the title.

If we get points at a remotely similar rate to Chelsea and manage to avoid defeat to them at Anfield we should squeak it and then we can put this season behind us.

Probably the least fun we've had watching Liverpool since the 14/15 season and the 15/16 spell before Klopp's arrival.
If we lose today we will be worrying about more than chelsea. Everton will go 2 point behind us. Depending on other resukts there could 5 teams looking at that 5th place. M8p0

As pessimistic as it is I can only see us losing today. We'll just get bullied allover the pitch.

Unfortunatly I agree. Just seen the team and our midfield need to be up for a fight today. Not sure we have the strength in there though.

          • Aston Thrilla 4-3 Sunderland

            Nottingham Forest 4-1 Burnley

Surely Forest will survive the drop now.

                • Of course those City cunts have a keeper like that in a season where Arsenal and not us are in a race against them. Where was he in 19/20 and 21/22.
Now Semenyo trips chasing a poor pass from Haaland.

Long may his own mob be short of challenging for the PL and CL.

                          Never in doubt

Sincerely though, great result - you really see what even just the one victory can do when you have that little bit of a cushion.

Lol..I know. I was only saying it as I said the same before the Fulham game and we won.
I fully knew we'd win today. Le Grande Lolz.
