    So what now?

I hope during all this bs the club had sense to put feelers out for other options like valverde. Including agreeing in principle a fee, otherwise its suddenly 20-30m more now.

    If not we are screwed.

Valverde isn't a DM. You'd imagine there's absolutely zero chance of landing Tchouameni as he would have been a higher priority than Caicedo.

That's an interesting statement. Could we be "playing dirty" to entice Chelsea into a big bid (on Caicedo) to try and highlight the what-the-fuckery of their spending to the appropriate authorities?
    I hope they have.
Anyone who believes Chelsea's transfer business is above board is on glue.

    “Valverde isn't a DM“

Hahahaha shows how much I’ve seen of the Spanish league tees.

Didn't realise I needed your permission when I wanted to post or not post. I'll be sure to ask next time.

Don't you have another conspiracy theory to bake up?

ps - last I heard, it wasn't Klopp at the presser talking about the deal. It was actually John Henry with a Jurgen Klopp mask on. The plot thickens.

That would be like expecting the UN to condemn the US for the biggest act of environmental terrorism in blowing up the Nordstream 2 pipeline. Then seeing an international arrest warrant for Joe Biden. Not only would it never happen - there would be literally zero consequences.

    Shame.
No need to talk about Steveo like that. For sure he's a moaning git and not the type of person you'd hang around at a party but I'm sure his heart's in the right place.

I keep forgetting Chelsea have no European football thus season. Maybe Caicedo wants a fat wage for a year in which he'll hardly ever play more than once a week. League Cup,FA Cup and a few rounds of the PL as the only midweek games they'll face in 23/24.
Jurgen would no doubt flog him to pieces as we know he loves relying on a handful of players to be beasted 2 games a week for a season.

Good point, I'd forgotten that too.
It's about money and London. There's no other reasons any player would want to play for them over Liverpool. There's literally a chasm in every other area, they're a shithouse nothing club and always have been.
