We've not really been pushed this season and almost feels like we've been coastiing in 2nd or 3rd gear for the most part.

If we're at our best we'd beat every side left in the competion, baring Real. Who, if at there best will walk the rest of competiion.

When we won it in 2005 there were all these omens aligning like the Pope died, and there was a change of Dr Who, and a Royal Wedding, which happened in previous years that we won it.

This year there are gathering rumours about the Pope and Dr Who, and like 2005, we have a manager in his first season after 'missing out' on Portugal's finest!

Doesn’t mean a thing - sorry to break it to you folks but one of the best managers this country ever produced Brian Clough failed at Leeds. Not because he was a shyte manager but much more because of timing, bad luck AND ripping up too much of what had gone before.

Amorim is a very good manager - or at least - he was in Portugal. He was also “supposedly” higher on the list than Slot - being a second choice after Xabi Alonso… - but seemingly shot himself in the foot…moonlighting with West Ham… and trying to force the clubs hand.
