I prefer Cunha anyway to be honest, scored an excellent goal for Brazil recently after closing down the defender and belting it in from the edge of the box.

Can finish, energetic pressing and can score from range. Pretty good link up play too… just that hot head streak.

I could see us letting both Nunez and Jota go, to bring in a free like David to support an expensive CF. Time will tell ..

Diaz is almost certain to go.. so a lot of business needs doing in the summer, we will also need back up for Gravenberch. hes been brilliant this season, but hes only a young lad and can't do another season on his own.

It’s a complete rebuild but we’re owned by FSG so it’s a big shop at Lidl then …

    Or david on a free

For the record I don't think he's that good, hence west ham and spurs have been linked with him, I don't personally want him then again can't be worse then frunez
I said something similar to a pal earlier this week. The talk of Alvarez or Isak seems laughable. Isak has another two years in his contract, there's no way we are paying what they would demand. Same with Alvarez, bought last summer for 82m and having a great season. Why would they let him go? After just one season too, makes absolutely no sense and that's added to the fact they would demand atleast another 10-15m on top.
It's much more likely that it'll be someone like Cunha, Ekitike or David who's brought in.

I just don't see a massive rebuild. Can't remember a time any club has let go 7 or 8 players and directly replaced them.

Four players max I'd think. CB,LB and maybe two forwards. I don't see a midfielder being bought. They'll promote Morton or bring back Bacjetic.

Whilst I think we currently have a strong squad, we only have 2 players for every position (as it should be imho) and anyone who leaves will absolutely need to be replaced at a minimum. It's a different scenario if you have a 25 man squad of internationals.

The list of of potential outs is pretty long. Whilst I dont think they will all go, it's still going to be a busy summer replacing any that do.

    Kelleher
    Trent
    Gomez
    Robbo and/or Tsimikas
    Elliot
    Nunez
    Chiesa
    Diaz
    Jota

    Mo
    VVD

I could see Bajcetic given another go. Maybe Doak for Chiesa? But like Elliot these are for players that are going to be very fringe and have hardly played anyway.

Obviously the Amigos and Robbo are all first team and will absolutely need to be replaced with as close to 'like for like' as we can find. Diaz, Jota, Nunez and Gomez will need to be replaced by players that are ready to contribute to the first team, not youngsters.

Kellerher has already been replaced so I didn't really count him as much as I'll be sad to see him go.
Not counting Virgil and Mo either as I'm hoping we won't have that issue.
Gomez I think will be replaced by someone like Guehi or similar. An upgrade I guess depending on opinions but there's also the possibility he stays if we don't replace Trent and rotate both him and Bradley. Risky given their injury records.
There's been a fair few links to Frimpong though? I do think it's more likely he moves on though for first team football.
Id be surprised to see Quansah leave despite the rumours of Newcastle interest. If we let him go they another CB we have to find, not likely at all.

LB is essential. Kerkez looks like the one.
Out of the midfielders I'd say Endo is the most likely due to his age and position. We need someone central to give Grav a break. I'd like to see Bacjetic back, he's a good player but again who knows? There's a reason we/Slot didn't keep him as part of the plan this season and his first loan didn't go well.

The forwards could be any of the three but I dont see all of them going.

Even if we had the money to do all those changes it's just not realistic,it's way too much upheaval at one time.
I really doubt there'll be anywhere near as much change as people assume.

Our squad definitely isn't as good as has been made out, hence why players like Gravenberch have been flogged to death. There are some areas of the pitch where our current first choice definitely needs replacing, whilst in most of the other positions there is too big of a disparity between our first choice and their backup.

We need to move on underperforming, injury prone, aging players, as well as anyone who doesn't want to be with us. In their place we need a few top quality players and some decent squad players. However given our owners m.o. the likelihood is that we'll get in one or two mid range signings e.g. Kerkez, and a handful of relatively cheap squad players.

I and a few others certainly aren't being hoodwinked into believing all this "Liverpool to spend big on major summer overhaul" nonsense doing the rounds.

It’s going to be a very interesting summer. Whatever happens let’s pray we are attracting talent as champions.

It’s about the manager - Slot has been great at simply putting out Klopp’s team. Who will he attract, Does he have the charisma to bring in a Virgil or an Allison EVEN if he is given the funds

Nottingham Forest and Newcastle are both interested in Liverpool and Uruguay striker Darwin Nunez, 25, who looks increasingly likely to leave Anfield. (Teamtalk, external)

Funny isn’t it, they all take the piss but if there’s a chance they could have him in their squad …

Liverpool's pursuit of Newcastle United and Sweden striker Alexander Isak, 25, is gaining traction. (Givemesport)
