0 doubters took up the offer.

They could have got better odds by betting on arsenal to win the league at 14/1 then. I suspect no one actually put money on that either.

For next season, we'll let's see what happens.

Looking towards next year, who else do you/ye think is going to win it next year ?
Paddy Power paid out at the end of February?

I suspect there are non footballing reasons why bookies do what they do and there are non footballing reasons why people on here didn't take your bet.

I don't class myself as a doubter but I think February was too early to call it seriously. (That doesn't mean it isn't going to happen) Like most I was quietly confident but not wanting to tempt fate knowing we were a few key injuries away from disappointment.

It's too early to call next season. This time last year people were saying "Arne who?" and seeing his Feyenoord weren't even the best team in the Dutch league. We don't yet know who is going to be playing for who or managing for who. Much depends on the transfer window. For all clubs.

I'll have a punt on us if the odds are good but I don't think we win it with this same squad so we need signings. Man City have to be up there because they have a proven manager and necessary funds. If Arsenal fail to win the champions league I'd write them off if they keep the same manager.

Oh stop talking sense. The same clairvoyants that were calling it in February would have given up at 3:0 down in Istanbul and would have given us no hope v Barca in 2019.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. It looked good at Christmas and even better in Jan - but anyone thinking it was done then would be well premature . Calling it in February - even late February was still jumping the gun… Certainly for me to let go of my senses. But Congratulations to those who knew 😏

With 8 games to go, with a pretty consistent gap...... all fucking season pretty much

12 pts ahead with 8 games left....... and people still thought we'd fuck it up and be negative ..... OoOhH wE Rr tirEd WE losE every week!!!!!!!! we lost one game by t his time still now 2 granted we did lose one !

Oh and look still a 12 point gap with a game in hand, ISN'T THIS FANT ASTIC?

it's not us knowing in hindsight, it's us being fucking obvious and normal people and not thinkikng fucking negative, the odds for us to win title was probably... well bet 50 quid get a quid back after 30 games

Unlucky, sorry it didn't work out how you wanted, as i've said last 5 games, we'll win it against spurs

I was right JUst saying cus i am fucking god init

it's not been close for fucking ages, ENJOY IT BABE one horse-race

    Not done just yet kev.

If you hold on for one more day… (well a few actually) things will go your way…

But as I have mentioned before the concern you and your new mate have shown for me as we approach the run in - is beyond touching - it’s down right moving

It's upto FSG but others will improve more than us, I think arsenal might finally win it, depending if city spend spend spend
Always tricky. The sense of achievement this year will be less. The 1st PL era title, a huge hunger satiated and having won the CL the season before, that's a massive high. The big 2.

I think it's been a great season built on the squad, many regulars looking better and only few lesser spotted players as a result. Konate, Grav, MacA, Sobozla, Gakpo, Diaz, even Jones looking better this year. Many of those are ahead of Trent & Robbo in a pots shortlist imo.

when it was never in doubt, ohhh only such a lead with 8 games left we're gonna blow it we're playing shit (we still only lost one g ame at this time, fair enough two now).... for sure

At the end of February (24th) I posted:
    1st of March 2025
We then beat Newcastle... and Arsenal drew with Forrest to wrap up February. That was it done. Seemed fairly obvious at that time.

    We have played 5 games since, won 4 & lost 1 !
    2.4 points per game
2.39 points per game for the season.
Southampton, Everton, Fulham (L), West Ham & Leicester the 5.

12 points clear with better goal difference, more goals scored, and a game in hand now. 5 games later. 5 to play.

Arsenal played 7 since, won 3 (Chelsea, Fulham & Ipswich) & drew 4 (Manu, Everton, Brentford & Palace)
    1.86 points per game
1.97 points per game for the season.
